The best part I like about helpcrunch is the ability to grab user attention through in-app message and contact user directly form the app by sending email. Creating segments and personalizing messages based on target user on specific pages.

Need more messenger integrations, however, the existing possibilities are broad enough already.

I was able to stop using intercom because of HelpCrunch. That saved my company a lot of monthly payment and also it works just like intercom if not better (with more features!). It also tackles the help and support area very well.
I've tried just about every competitor to HelpCrunch, and although some of them were useful tools, they lacked some essential features out of the box. For example, HelpCrunch allows us to modify every aspect of our customer engagement. We can customize all things from initial messages and localizations to styling to our heart's content do to custom icon/chat bubble. Add in the fact that their team is very responsive and helpful, and well, you can't go wrong.
I was unable to find any noteworthy downsides to the platform as of now. Although with a rockstar team I don't imagine I will any time soon.

The system has an ease of use that is noteworthy compared to others in the chat and support space. It is user-friendly, and their documentation and product support is top-notch.
Depending on your website and themes you may need to modify some features to make sure you do not block content on mobile, but they do have modifiable icons to help with that issue.

The combination of a really great UI, excellent iPhone app, developer API, canned responses and integrations are just my highlights of a fully featured solution.
I really only have one niggle when it comes to HelpCrunch and that's some of my favoured integrations aren't available - Zapier, IFTTT and MS Flow. I'm hoping they come along eventually as linking all of these tools together as an SME is where the magic happens.

There are two major benefits to HelpCrunch, their customer service and their versatile features. They always respond back to us incredibly fast and it's super easy to get help using the chat box right in the app. Also, my favorite part is that the number of features they offer for the price point far extends beyond their competitors. Specifically, the ability to add custom CSS is beyond valuable as it allows you to stylize your chat widget for your site in a way that differentiates it from other "cookie-cutter" chat widgets that many other sites use. I also liked the ability to use HelpCrunch in a versatile way. You can use it both for front-end sales, but also as a "support" system for logged-in customers.
I've been using HelpCrunch for 6 weeks now and have no real complaints. If you're on the fence about it, just get it. The team is really supportive so if you encounter any negative problems, they'll be quick to help you.
We've gotten tons of valuable feedback from customers who've gotten stuck during the signup process of our website and used our chat widget to contact us and let us know about the problem they were having. If it wasn't for the chat widget, we would have never known these problems were occurring.
It's lightweight code, doesn't affect my page initial loading speed, yet had a ton of features and all the bells and whistles you would expect from a pro chat agent app. I just love it! The native WordPress integration was one of the main reasons I decided to give Help Crunch a try, and I found it to integrate with WordPress seamlessly. I tried a punch of other help desks/live chat combination apps and by far Help Crunch is the lightest app that didn't really affect my website pages loading speed. Also, the price was unbeatable as I got the lifetime deal which means I don't have to pay any monthly fees to keep the app up and running. This is a must-have live chat app for small businesses like mine.
It's something that I dislike, but rather a feature request maybe: to enable Zapier integration in the future. I would also love to see some MailChimp and mailer lite integrations in the future. But it's good for what it does without those for now.
