I loved how simple it was to create beautiful, functional websites from templates with the flexibility of complete customization. The platform is super flexible and easy to use. It literally had every feature I needed.

Some of the non-Wix built app/widgets were a little unreliable, but there were so many good options, I was always able to find something that worked well.

I used Wix as a freelancer to create a website for a small nonprofit client. It was incredibly easy to set up, maintain and add all the features my client needed.

WIx is an intuitive, straightforward, and imaginative web platform. It cuts the code entirely and completely cuts out the greatest barrier to entry to web dev and design.

Wix can be hard to make do what you image. You do end up morphing your ideas and wishes to what is possible on the Wix platform but that's to be expected. It would be the same thing using code or not.

Wix is where I keep my portfolio and hosted my thesis website. It was a godsend and made the web aspects of such big projects a breeze that i'm thankful for.

I really like that everything is easy to navigate and there are so many pre loaded templates you can fix to be your own unique style without having to know much about HTML coding. Literally everything is at your fingertips to make a website easy.

I’ve had both the free version and paid version, and I understand with the free version you need ads, I just wish that you could have a shorter URL it just doesn’t look very professional.

I’ve been able to put my inventory status right into the website so that when someone orders something it will show out of stock once it’s been bought. No more apology emails to customers who bought the same things.

I think that wix should get a better contact system for site subscribers. Their shout outs are not as creative and efficient as they should be.

Wix allows me to create amazing sites for my customers, no matter what field that are in, at a reasonable price. The benefit of this is that the customer is able to make more money using their site and wix gets another "life" customer. None of my clients have switched to another platform from wix. I love how simple it is to use, however, you can still make it more complex and intricate. It is a perfect website platform, regardless if you are a first-time user or have a lot of experience with websites.

I dislike the transfer from desktop to mobile view. It is a bit complicated because some features you worked so hard for on your desktop view are useless. For example, you can spend hours on your desktop view but then when you make the automatic switch to mobile view, certain features don‘t make the trip over. Unfortunately, all that work has then gone to waste and you‘re left with a great desktop view and an okay mobile view.

The price is a little steep, especially if you don't buy yearly.
