Box's interface is really intuitive and works great for sharing files across my institution, as well as keeping certain files and folders limited by privilege. It makes organizing a great deal of information, including sensitive information, really easy. The website design is also sleek and easy to navigate.

Integration with Mac is a little shaky sometimes for the desktop application; it requires re-opening upon every startup to access the files, which Dropbox doesn't. It also has a tendency to forget preferences upon re-opening; ie certain folders I used to have saved to display in my Finder always pop up when I restart, even if I don't use them anymore, so I end up having to close them all out every time I open the application.

My institution uses Box for class-wide academic materials, and it's made getting information out to students without sending a ton of different emails really effective and efficient. It's definitely cut down on my searching through a bunch of emails to find the files and information I need.

One of the most obvious difficulty that we faced while using this software is that it does not have the ability to download the multiply files and the documents. The another disadvantage of that this software is that we cannot easily share large amount of data, files and documents with our friends and colleague. So it should enhanced the ability to download the multiple files at once. The another reason that I don’t like about this software is that the syncing speed is a bit slower as compared to its competitors.

It's easy to collaborate with teams all across the world without spamming the mailboxes of the whole team. As soon as a file is ready it can be shared in a folder and be ready for the next phase so others can work on it.

It syncs too frequently by default for my taste, but since there is an on-off button there is nothing to complain about

With Box we were able to unify in a single site, all the intellectual property of the company, regardless of the sector. And we saved our own data center costs where other platforms were hosted on premise.

It works with every kind of file without a hard limit on the size of the file. I just move my file to the box folder and it will upload as soon as I'm connected to the internet. I also have some folders not shared and I use that to sync unfinished work between my machines.

The box folders can be out of sync if you don't sync them manually by the Sync On-Off switch.

The capacity to store versions, to track the changes. This feature has been very useful in the project that I'm currently working, we are exchanging information about EDI Mappings, and it is constantly evolved, so, when you have done a modification and another member of the team check the file again, is very easy to know who modified the file, when and what has been modified. The mini GIT that is in Box, is good enough to back on your steps if necessary.

Since I come for a third company, the first login process was really tedious, I don't know why, but I have to set up my account with my company's email and then use another password, but I don't know why I had to do this process 3 times because Box didn't want me to log in. It could be an isolated issue, but as far as I know, it has been the only thing that I haven't enjoyed using Box.

The main problem solved is centralizing the information, since the project involves 3 companies, and each of them has its own stack of software, we started using Box as the main asset to exchange, update and add information for all the stakeholders and it has been the best desition

Basically, I love Box because of the storage space it offers, it is a highly secure platform that keeps your files intact till when you need them. Box has helped me recover documents I lost. I love the fact that it is user friendly, you don't need a tutorial to be able to know how it works. The app helps me manage and organize my files in a very smart way.

The only thing I don't like about the app is that sometimes uploading large files can be really slow.

It fits your workflow. If you like to work with a browser or with the desktop app it works as intended in every situation. I dislike to have things synced to my devices and only use the browser when I need it but most of my coworkers like to sync their files and it works well in every situation.

The only thing I dislike is the concept of co-owner of a file, why not only have a generic owner title for everyone? but that's just a minor detail.

Box is the best software as compared to the Google Drive or one drive and the other software. It has some management features that we cannot use easily. The one most important problem is that software, when we shared the large amount of data and documents, it can create the error of our system and our system can't work well so all the data automatically delete. Another problem is that software, it takes too much time for downloading and uploading. We cannot use this software for searching the different functions and application. The benefits are that the database is so large, it can hold huge files. It also doesn't take a super long time to upload and download.

The best part of Box is that is very flexible and can work with many workflow styles, I use to sync files only when I need them and avoid using the browser most of the time but some of my coworkers use the browser all the time.
