I like being about to hear the recorded phone calls. I like being able to monitor different employees' interactions with clients and they like that I am always in the loop.
I wish that it would accept texts better when you need to receive a code for verification. Sometimes these don't always go through. I also wish that there was the ability to group text my employees within the system. I find that I am still texting them through their personal cell so that I can send to all of them at 1 time.
We are being able to now have a phone tree that directs calls to the main number and then can send them through to individual extensions.I love that we can text through this as well.
The menu options and the features with each line like the auto respond.
I wish that I could create several menu levels without needing a phone number for every level. In other words, have clients press 1 and then press 2 and it all happens in the same number.
Professional sounding business phone line.
OpenPhone was so easy to set up online. The approval process was quick and it works great so far. I needed an international business number and this was easy and affordable. I had one billing issue that was resolved very quickly and easily. The customer support seems very good and response time is fast. Thank you!
So far, I have no dislikes. I'm new to the service but it's working great so far. I have no suggestions as of yet for any improvements.
I live in Denmark and work online with US customers. I needed a US number that customers and colleagues could use without having to call international. Something easy and affordable. This is perfect!

Rich feature set with a great UX. It was really easy to get set up and onboard our team.
The Zapier integration is great for most use cases, but I would love an API in the future to handle more robust integrations. It's not an issue for us now though.
We needed several business phone numbers with the ability to have transparency. OpenPhone has made it easy for our whole team to contribute and have visibility into the sales and support process.
App is so easy to use. You can get it on your desktop too and it syncs with your phone automatically. Quickest way I got a US number.

It's a pretty straightforward system. Easy to use. We use it as our phone system for our business and haven't had any major problems. When I did have a question, support got back to me very quickly and resolved the issue.
I don't like that when I call someone, I can't transfer them to another person. I can only transfer people who call the number. This causes me to have to call people back and tell them to call the number so I can transfer them to the right person.
We have been able to streamline our system so it is very easy to use. We rarely run into issues, but when things happen, support is always a call or chat away and fixes it asap.
Openphone has the best customer support team.

I am able to connect with international customers with ease and able to reach them at my convenience with the custom voicemail and automatic reply options.
It's very easy to use and cost effective and I found it to be much better than Google Voice service that I switched from. I love that I can customize my business hours as well as create voicemails and text message replies for all scenarios.
It needs to allow you to not send a text reply if someone leaves you a voicemail.

I’m living outside the US, have an international phone number but wanted to retain my US number which I’ve had forever. OpenPhone’s product allows me to to do just that without having to pay for an expensive US phone plan. OpenPhone, from beginning to end answered all my questions, ported my phone seamlessly and continue to provide excellent customer service. I now feel confident that anyone trying to reach the old number will get me without problem. I know many expats who are using OpenPhone to import their US numbers without hassle. It’s not just for companies and is a great option for the single user market.
One drawback is I can't get login verification codes via text because it's VOIP.

Wanted reasonably priced inbound call routing for a small business and got it with OpenPhone.
OpenPhone helps me the most by giving me an extra line without having to get a second phone. I can differentiate between business calls and texts vs personal ones which.
So far, I have not found anything I do not like about this service.
I know when to take a call and when I can let it go. It lets me easily keep my business and personal life separate without the need for a second phone to carry around.
I recently moved out of the country and was looking for a VOIP solution that wouldn't break the bank for calls back and forth between myself and my clients and family. So far, I've been very impressed with OpenPhone. Any questions that I've had have been quickly answered. Any issues have been promptly addressed.
I think they could do a little better job with communicating the billing options once the free trial is over. I'm not sure if I had the option or not when I signed up, but when my trial period ran out, I got billed for an entire year of service. I prefer to be on a monthly plan. They refunded me and helped me switch over to monthly billing so all is good. Perhaps when they send out the email that warns you that your trial period is coming to an end, they could also give you a link to review your upcoming billing protocol.
Maintaining a local phone presence in my home country without breaking the bank! I like the built-in tools with OpenPhone. They are top-notch.
It is very easy to use, sometimes simple is the best. We have an international healthcare business and there are no other similar services out there that are as easy to use as OpenPhone. I would invest in them!
I like everything - their desktop app, mobile app, coworking etc. We have had 0 issues with them.
Some of our employees work outside of the US and it is the best way to get a US number and communicate with your customers on the go. We are currently scaling up our business and our whole sales team will get Openphone, no matter if they live in the US or outside of the US. It is literally the best business phone service out there.
OpenPhone is a great low cost application I can use to call North America from Japan. It's a great solution for anyone living overseas. Great for businesses!

I'm able to make phone calls to Canada using a local number, rather than calling long distance with my number in Japan. OpenPhone helps me be more productive.

I wish there was a way to integrate OpenPhone into a physical desk phone.
For my consulting agency, I need to have a unique phone number for each of my clients that comes to our office. We are able to quickly set up new numbers for each client and use automation to reduce manual entries.
Open Phone is easy to operate. Moving the existing number from Google Voice to Open Phone was really simple. I like that I can manage numerous businesses with different numbers and different teams from the same app. Being able to record calls is handy.
I wish there were better options to transfer calls to another team member. It's not available except for the more expensive plans.
