Support is very helpful. I don't have much of an understanding of working with servers and domains, however every time I contact support with a question they are able to help me get what I need done. Often times they just do it for me which is super helpful. Been with Liquid Web for 3 years and plan on staying for a long time.

Pricing could be better but not too bad for value.

I've been a LiquidWeb customer since 2013 and have hosted dozens of sites on my Cloudserver. I would never consider moving to another web hosting company. The performance is virtually flawless and trouble-free, and any technical questions I have had are answered within minutes by a very friendly (and patient!) support staff. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

Affordable hosting that NEVER lets me down. I spent almost 15 years moving from web host to web host, only to find my sites gone without notice as the company folded. Also, I've never experienced any security issues using Liquidweb. Highly recommended!

I've been using the Cloud Sites service for as long as it has been provided by Liquid Web, and since 2010 from when it was previously provided by Rackspace. The quality and reliability of the hosting and email services is certainly excellent, but the level of tech support is second to none. Their support crew has come through for me countless times over the years, and have even helped me with things that were probably not really their responsibility, i.e. WordPress child theme configuration issues, questions regarding foreign domain name extensions, IMAP email configuration on multiple devices, and much more. If you host multiple small-to-medium websites for yourself and/or others, and you don't have the knowledge or the desire to manage servers or hosting space on your own, you really can't go wrong with their Cloud Sites managed hosting option. They offer one-click installation of WordPress as well as many other content management systems, making this an ideal solution for freelance web developers and designers. Setup and configuration of email accounts is quick and easy, and they offer a website you can send your customers to that helps them set up all their devices and troubleshoot email configuration issues, so you don't have to deal with any of that.

Pricing for the Cloud Sites service is somewhat inflexible, although this only applies to the monthly fee for hosting -- fees for email accounts are by quantity. However, I can't really complain about that because they previously gave me the email service for free (as Rackspace did when they owned this service before Liquid Web). When they started charging for email a couple of years ago, they bumped up the maximum storage on each account from 1 GB to 25 GB, which made the price change significantly less painful.

First of all, I don't have to worry about managing hosting space or servers, which saves me time. Yes, there are services out there that provide hosting by the specific amount you need, but they generally don't offer the same level of management. Second of all, the fact that I can reach a tech support person via chat or phone within minutes,at any time of the day or night on any day of the year means that I can solve my clients' problems quickly and easily. Finally, the speed with which I can set up web hosting and email accounts, as well as install content management systems like WordPress, makes the admin side of my job much easier. For me, this is precisely the level of management I need, as I am usually busy providing other services to my clients that are not necessarily related to website hosting or email accounts.

Their pricing is a bit more than other providers, but they more than makeup with it with their service. I've been with other providers and while they were 'cheaper' their service reflected it (if there was any 'service' at all)

No downtime, they've solved WordPress glitches, plugin problems, and helped me troubleshoot why certain things weren't working during the middle of a launch.

Our last hosting company, Nexcess, over-charged us and billed for everything. The only way to get near reasonable pricing was to lock into a trouble, long-term contract with Nexcess, which the former company President, unfortunately signed-up for. When I tookover the reigns, one of my top objectives was to trim the IT budget while improving client suppot. As soon as the contract with Nexcess was over we did not monkey around. Instead, we worked with Angelo at Liquidweb.com to migrate our accounts. We are glad we switched. At the time, we had 70+ Drupal and 20+ Wordpress sites to move. It took nearly 3 months. In less than 1 year, two of my top five annual goals have been achieved, thanks to Liquidweb.com. Liquidweb is a breath of fresh air. Fair pricing, top-level customer support, and outside the box thinkers.

Admin area a bit tricky to understand at first. That said, so far, we love them. Not much to complain about.

Multiple client sites on one hosting platform, and liquidweb will respond to my clients without trying to steal them. Best of all they set-up each client and offer auto SSL certifiaction so we don't have to mess with 3rd party tools directly.

We have 2 servers with LW and manage approx. 20 websites. I have a new issue needing advanced support at least once per month and I know that I can always count on their team to help me get out of a jam. They could probably be triple the the price of any other company and it would still be worth it for the service they provide.

I honestly don't have anything that I dislike. I guess they could always be cheaper but I don't feel like I'm paying too much as it is.

I'm not an expert when it comes to servers or domains, but I know that with my experience and LW's customer support I can figure out pretty much any problem.

I've been working with Liquid Web's platforms for over a year now and everyday I cannot get over how awesome their solutions are. On top of that, they continuously provide top-notch service with their support staff being well versed in their platforms. Ability to scale our business without worrying about scaling our hosting. It all goes together!

I spent a lot of time selecting a web host for my web clients. I chose Liquid Web after having used many others over the past 16 years, some really big ones included. Their customer support for Wordpress has been outstanding. The response time is usually just minutes. The service reps (who are in the USA) speak in clear, easy to understand terms and directions.

Their email for business interface could be improved, but it works and the email has had no troubles.

Hosting more sites for less money than other hosts

I've been with Liquidweb for a few years and the service, price and attention to detail is fantastic. No question is an issue, always very helpful and will above and beyond to help out if asked! The migration team are great as they will move over any site required from other hosting if you ask for free. They are also great at looking into small tweaks you may need if your not that confident at making server edits. When i first started i used the support team a lot which was a great resource. Over time i have learned from them and they always point you to help resources to learn more if you want.

Nothing really. The service is honestly good and price accordingly.

24 HOUR RESPONSE AND QUALITY SERVICE. They attend to your queries immediately and would even do some web developer fixes if you request them to. They are the best. its as simple as that

ITS EXPENSIVE (MY CURRENT PLAN). i wish they could offer the same service for a lesser cost for small bussiness and websites like ours which is just a job site. Most times their website looks a bit complex with so much information that we who are not computer web develpers find it hard to navigate through

I've been with Liquid Web about 4 years now, and their tech support can't be beat! I'm a developer, so I've had occasion to interact with 30+ hosting companies over the 12 years I've been in business, and these folks really know their stuff! I typically have the problem of knowing more than the person I'm trying to get to fix my issue, but that's not the case at Liquid Web!

I can't really say there's anything that I dislike about LW. Maybe that they don't have SSO for people (like me) who need access to multiple accounts. A consolidated dashboard for access to everything I manage would be nice.

Their servers are fast, no surprise downtime (unless I got hacked, but that's not their fault), and they're always on hand to help however they can.

We’ve been with Liquid Web for over 3 years now, since they acquired Wired Tree. While we were completely happy with our existing hosting platform the merger has done nothing but improve. Value is one thing but the level of support we get is hands down the reason we stay. Thought about migrating to larger cloud-based options but the costs add up and the support is not even in the same ballpark.

It is pretty difficult to find something negative without being super picky.

The Managed WordPress interface is one of the best in the industry. It offers a significant amount of flexibility to run your business and doesn't require you to have limited access like only FTP access like many competitors. There's no issue with security with the additional access and we have about 200 sites on their platform.

The biggest issue that I've seen is the process for taking a site live. You have to point the A record and it can take hours for DNS to fully propagate, which is normal. The issue, though, is that you can't update the domain in the database until DNS fully propagates, rather than setting it ahead of time. This results in a dead site for users. There should be a means of renaming your domain from the interface prior to DNS propagation to allow for a smooth transition to live state. This has been an issue that I've not seen in other hosting providers. The workaround for us has been to set up DNS on a CDN first, then point the CDN A record to the host server. That's been the fastest way to address a migration, but shouldn't be a requirement.

Consistent hosting that is fast loading is a fundamental need for web services companies selling services like search engine optimization. Liquid Web provides this at a much more affordable price point than other competitors in the market place. High costs are passed on to customers, so lower prices allow us to pass on the savings, making us a value-oriented provider. Partnering with Liquid Web has allowed for that, making us a better business.

This was our third company trying for hosting services. As a small business, this is a big deal to have reliability and customer service. It feels like every penny we spend is crucial to our business and growth... we depend on efficiency. The value we have gotten from Liquid Web at this point has been heads and shoulders against the other services (and they were well recommended services). It's a little more (not much) than the other services we used but the capabilities, speed and security are soooooo much nicer! One of the most notable attributes of Liquid Web is their customer service. Top notch every time!

This is barely a dislike... but the security is a high enough level that getting things going was a little snaggy. But, this is expected. Customer service made is as simple as it could be!

We are a small company so we need great service and products for our dollars. We are paying a little more than what we have... but the benefits far outweigh. The UI is great AND it includes a CMS which we are developing for our team. Great stuff!

Absolutely nothing to dislike about LiquidWeb hosting!

I manage my websites and websites of my clients. The benefits of hosting my sites with Liquid Web are the speed of their servers, the reliability and the user friendly interface.

I like how the company provides great customer service and notifies us time by time that there are attacks on our servers or even attempts only and I would know that the security we get is the best.

Down time but it's rare to happen anyway

Everything! Seriously, we transitioned from a dedicated Linux box to Liquid Web's Managed Wordpress Hosting and it has exceeded every expectation. It's 3.5x faster and and uptime has been stellar. The UI is great. The wordpress migration plugin has worked every single time without error on 17 sites. And best of all, Customer Support has been AMAZING!

Wordpress staging could be improved to allow actual version tracking and launching of staged site.

We host a membership portal that was crashing our other server. Liquid Web scales to handle high-traffic times without an issue.
