I used Visme to create a couple of infographics and found the product to be easy to use and very professional looking. The infographics I created looked like they'd been done by a professional graphic designer. The program was intuitive and had lots of options.
The upgraded version was a bit expensive unfortunately.
Excellent for creating professional looking infographics quickly and easily.
ease of use & good selection of graphics to use. Not as boring as power point.
speed (when I need to go back to a few slides when presenting) could be improved. limited ability to convert the spreadsheet to graphs
end user friendly presentation
Easy to use MP4 Video export is one of the reason I took the premium version
Poor icon collection Could be great to have more charts and data option
I'm creating animated charts very easily
There are just enough tools for me to get creative and not feel overwhelmed. The templates are great, but I use them mostly for inspiration. Visme gives me the confidence to create things on my own.
The interface can be wonky. You have to be patient and/or find workarounds. I also dislike that pricing to purchase a perpetual license isn't offered.
To be able to slap a professional-looking infographic on my own feels great. This saves money and time on my part. Also, I use it as a tool to show my thought processes visually--using flowcharts.
I came across Visme after being impressed by a deck that seemed like an amped-up version of PowerPoint. It was sleeker and more modern. WHen using the platform, I like the how-to videos. I watched the initial 5-minute video on how use Visme and I was immediately on my way. In fact, there are many short videos that teach you how to do things quickly.
The platform isn't always intuitive, but once I learn the new thing (whatever it may be) it's easy to do going forward.
Being able to share password-protected decks without having to attached a large file PPT. Clients seem to like it, too.
I think Visme is unique because of its diverse template and business-oriented feature. It can be a great tool for business consultants to make presentations that better show the market research, numbers related to the problem, and other relevant data result. For me, the interactive feature is my favorite.
There is nothing I really dislike. The only thing is it might be kind of time consuming than powerpoint since you have too many options.
Consulting. Data visualization is really helpful.
Easy to use; Effective responsiveness; Pop-ups commands; Slides
Data widgets/graphs/visualizations are poor
To create simple infographics and/or flowcharts for journalistic articles makes it easier to understand core contents of our articles.
They have an enormous amount of templates for you to use to create various products, from engaging presentations to business cards to reports. They even have thousands of stick videos for you to use!
Performance is a big issue. I've had Visme crash on me multiple times and lost work. Secondly, I've had challenges transferring presentations using an older version of Visme to the newer version of it.
Creating engaging presentations when communicating data results and findings. Visme is one of the best software for creating data visualization products that are not dashboards.
I like the multi options of document types, images and videos that you can create, and I also like that you can work very efficiently on both simple and more complex projects. I also like the feature of removing the background from images, which is working very quickly, and it's so much better than the resolts from Adobe Express. I like the fact that you can use audio samples in the background of videos and the fact that you can use many animations.
I wouldn't say I like that the photo library is free, and it's a little bit limiting your ability to work on projects related to specific topics. In this area, Adobe Express is a better option. Also, it's a better option when you have to work with fonts that require special characters.
The Visme helps us on a simple project, like a photo on a social media page, but most importantly, it helps us make presentations and documents that look nice and are very quick to make.
Few functionalities such as font paring, 3D icons and animations, social media templates, etc. This helps primarily to reduce time - when the design is not required to be too extensive and something needs to be created quickly.
The fact that Vismi is in between: neither like Figma that gives complete freedom to creators; nor has an exhaustive library like (say) Envato - it is in between. Hence, we don't use Vismi for heavy designs - just a few things here and there that needs to be completed in a short and quick way.
As described earlier, when the design requirements are low, it helps the team quick create something - saving time and effort in the process. So time saving is the primary motivation.
You can create many charts, infographics, and presentations effortlessly by using its effective templates.
You can't download your project as a free membership.
Solving designing problems as a nondesigner. It makes it easier to create professional-looking designs for everone.
Visme is a really nice design tool you can create banners, presentation and other designs but i trully love for make infographics What i love of Visme is - Have a lot of templates, so you can start design right away - Smart Blocks, so you can drag and drop small blocks of designs - Data Widgets like Graphs, Charts, Diagrams - LinkShare, so you can share your design with your clients If you need to do presentation or infographic Visme is the best Also, you can share your design with a link. That is a really good plus
The cons on Visme are sometimes feel kind buggy and slow. The image store is very small. They could have more items in there library, like more icons and photos. Would be nice they add a branding feature and color template
Make a infographics is hard, with Visme you can do it more faster and easy. Also really good for presentations.
I like how quickly you can make something and easily access a lot of shapes, graphs, object, etc.
I dislike the glitches and weird work arounds. Maybe because it's still beta but I notice a lot of spacing issues or text box problems whenever i'm trying to move things.
We're looking to use it to create quick infographics and campaign tracking visuals. It's easy to put in numbers and create visuals to show our team/ upper management.
Allows for really powerful graphic design with limited experience. If you are creative and put in the time, output looks very professional.
I don't like the price of VISME. I have a CANVA yearly subscription and only use VISME on a month to month as I need it. I find that VISME and CANVA are very similiar, however VISME seems to be targeted at the US while CANVA is more international. Also CANVA has a presence on social media where people show hacks which is really cool and useful. Finally, CANVA offers pricing in my local currency (ZAR) and costs less than a tenth of the price of VISME. VISME is priced using USD , I cannot afford VISME at the current exchange rate due to the weaking ZAR, VISME is costing me close to double the price it was a few years ago.
Allows us to communicate research findings quickly and effectively using inforgraphics rather than long reports that nobody reads. VISME output is very professional, reducing reliance on our Marketing department.
Templates to work from, can import from and to powerpoint
inserting images could be more efficient, work sharing, more variety of icons and data downloads from internet. Graphic figures could be better
getting a good fresh presentation swiftly
Easy drag and drop designer with good templates
Not much. Some functionality missing but probably not in the scope of a drag and drop designer
quick and easy graphic design
Extremely friendly and helpful customer experience!
Lacks quite a few features that competitors may have...
Creating day-to-day content for social media platforms!
I recently had the opportunity to try out Visme, a software that promised to simplify my marketing efforts with its turnkey approach and compelling features in the Pro package. Initially, I was enticed by the great marketing and the impressive array of tools, such as the 'Brand Kit,' video and GIF creation, and a wide selection of templates for infographics, brochures, presentations, and more. The software did an excellent job of showcasing branded templates being effortlessly created, and the variety of templates available seemed endless. This gave me high hopes for the Pro package, as it appeared to be well worth the investment.
My enthusiasm from Visme marketing quickly turned into great disappointment after I purchased the non-refundable Pro package. To my surprise, it was essentially identical to the free version, with the all-important 'Brand Kit' section largely non-functional. Despite being advertised as a feature of the Pro package, it simply did not work as expected. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I reached out to the support team. Their initial suggestion was to log out, clear my cache, and try using multiple browsers, including Chrome. Oddly enough, Chrome was already my preferred browser, so this advice seemed redundant. When the issue persisted, I informed support that the branded templates were not being generated, even though they had already been created during the conversion to the Pro account. Their response was unexpected: I was informed that the templates could only be generated by running an automatic branding tool based on a website URL. We followed this process, but Visme only correctly identified our logo while getting the brand colors and fonts completely wrong. Despite this incorrect information, the branded templates still failed to populate. Frustratingly, after spending two hours troubleshooting in Visme, it became apparent that the Pro account, for which we had prepaid for a year, simply did not work. Upon requesting a refund, we were met with a disappointing response: there were no refunds, regardless of the software's functionality or lack thereof. Seeking guidance, we turned to the tutorials provided by Visme, hoping to find a solution. Unfortunately, we encountered the same issues again. The in-app tutorial even got stuck at a certain step and would not progress, even after following the recommended log out and reset instructions. The following day, after yet another failed attempt at setting up the brand, we politely requested a refund for our pre-paid annual access. Once again, our request was denied. This experience left us genuinely concerned about Visme's misrepresentation of their system's capabilities and their lack of willingness to provide a reasonable refund when their software failed to work as advertised, despite our best efforts. While Visme may have garnered positive reviews from other users, my own experience was far from pleasant. The lack of functionality, the unsatisfactory support, and the strict enforcement of a no-refund policy left a sour taste in my mouth. I urge potential buyers to approach with caution, as the system's capabilities may not live up to the enticing promises made by Visme's marketing materials.
It's not solving our problems as it doesn't work per the feedback on what's not working. We tried numerous attempts to get the Pro account to work and it just wouldn't with no useful help from support.
The right idea about codeless data visualisation
Not slick enough, not customisable enough, not complex enough.
Data visualisation with interactive charts.
Nothing, after having experience with their customer service, there is a 0 willing to use it at all.
This is the worst company and worst customer service ever experienced. After I have discovered that to cooperate each team member has to purchase its own subscription, I have tried to cancel purchase. I wrote around 10 emails - with zero support and the only thing seems to be reasonable is to report to the bank that it is fraudulent service. The support from the customer service is 0. My story is very similar to the one posted by the designer on Trustpilot site. However, the fee I have paid was for the year, and I have tried to cancel it on the same day. It is miserable that the company is trying to make money through improper business culture and misleading statements.
There are no benefits, since company simply has misleading statements and customer service is not supportive.
