Has made it very easy for our sales persons to over deliver to our clients.
There isn't too much to dislike. We are very happy with the platform
it has been nice having ready to go options. Very plug and play!
The tools on Vendasta snapshot reports is a great tool for people to get an idea of their company digital footprint. They also have great products focusing on reputation management, reviews and more.
The automatic process of pulling info for a company is not as thorough as needed. You have to double check the info and make corrections, as there are usually mistakes. It also does not seem to pull the social media accounts for company. The snapshot report is also confusing at times, and I have never seen a website get higher than a B grading, they focus on aspects that are hard to explain to a customer, when it would be more beneficial to focus on the usability and easiness of navigation.
We help customers finding the best solutions for digital marketing. The benefits of Vendasta are the snapshot reports showing customers how they compare online to other companies in their industry.
Vendasta is an amazing product that has so many different functions and options to use. It can be a bit of a learning curve but the support and training you receive are excellent. Vendasta is a product that you can use in so many different ways depending on your agencies needs.
As we are in Australia the pricing to access the services is a bit prohibitive and restrictive to use. However if you were in USA or Canada then this would be good. The ability to combine all the important data and services to offer a client all under one database are really exceptional. The help you recieve is awesome as well.
The ability to wow your clients with an impressive white label service that encompasses almost every area of the marketing, seo, web design etc and advertising space.
The vast amount of services offered and the help the team at Vendasta gives you.
There are a few upgrades they need to make it make it easier to land clients.
Snapshot report is a valuable tool.
Vendasta's customer support is solid, and their interface is nice. Its great to be able to access all our sites from one login. Back ups are nice and easy.
You're usually at the mercy of a bunch of different vendors for products - we use very little of the additional services now. Hosting is pretty slow so if its not upgraded soon we'll probably leave. Nothing is best in class.
Great support.
The ability to access everything in one place.
How they continue to move things. Some upgrades are good but others fall short. They should ask partners to evaluate the changes they are thinking about before implementing. Some have been very bad ideas.
The platform allows easy access to reporting.
I like how it lists all our clients in one place and the ticketing system is easy to navigate. Also, I like that the reputation management can be done through one portal. Vendasta Local is also very easy to set up for Local SEO and ensuring that your NAP is the same across the internet. It made the process a lot less of a hassle.
At times, when you type in key words into the CRM, it will not bring the match up until you write EXACTLY what the title says. You can do things through one portal but it does not solidify it down. Let me explain, if multiple people comment or like the same post, it shows up individually on Vendasta. Therefore, you are liking and responding to multple comments and likes on the same thread but they are show as individual on Vendasta.
It lets us have our clients all in one place and ease of access to their information.
The personal attention I received from my sales representative.
The experience was largely positive. I have no complaints.
SEO and exposure.
I liked their expertise. They were able to learn the ins and outs of the company and be able to communicate our brand effectively. They have a lot of team members and it was nice to work with just a few so it stayed consistent.
The blog posts could have been a little more dynamic. They were good for SEO, but maybe just something with a little more flair, make it a little funnier. Make it so people are enticed to read until the end.
Not having to worry about social media or getting clicks anymore!
The best thing I like about Vendasta is the concierge option.
That they seem a bit behind in launching new items - such as Instagram scheduling & the option to add more than one photo or video to a post.
This platform is used to consolidate all the various review & social media platforms for our clients. We are able to login & immediately get a full understanding of what is happening in their account on a daily basis.
Vendasta creates a myriad of possible options for our business to incorporate in marketing both ourselves and our clients. Website performance reports, Listing distribution, and online review management are probably in the top ring of that
Social scheduling tools at times feel limited or not up to their full potential. That said, certain features have improved in recent months. Would love to see pinterest compatibility.
Our business uses a wide range of social & review tools as well as listing service to improve google ranks. For our own marketing, generating reports to show clients their weaknesses certainly helps sell our services
The one on one attention we receive from Vendasta has been phenomenal. We have never been in a situation where we could not get assistance or guidance!
There are a few components that are missing (some social integration) and some of the pricing on the digital pieces are quite high.
Organizing & sending reports- being an adjunct to our current alerting & monitoring has been incredibly beneficial. And, Vendasta has been willing to help modify them for our client's needs. We also have a great support staff and account managers who integrate seamlessly with our in house team and most importantly, our clients.
It has a ton of tools and capabilities. Also great customer service
The UI is a little messy. Too much going on
listing claiming, listing management, review management
It's a great "one stop shop" to manage a number of things that would typically be done in multiple platforms. It's pretty easy to use and simplifies a lot of processes.
There is some functionality I'd love to see, like tagging in the social media tool.
There is huge value in the analysis option and their white labeled products.
Vendasta has some excellent products they bring to the table. Their social engagement work is excellent, and their employees are pleasant to deal with. Their Partner Central portal is quite comprehensive and easy to use as well.
Their APIs can be an issue, particularly given they have a habit of occasionally changing their APIs with no warning (and suddenly everything that uses said API starts crashing). Some of their backend feels thrown together with no planning ahead.
We route several products through Vendasta, including Reputation Intelligence, microsites, and social marketing. So far, Vendasta has done an excellent job engaging with customers for these.
I like how I have a product that I can sell to my client base without having to invest lots of money in development. I also like how staff at Vendasta are willing to help when there is a problem.
The reputation management interface, whilst it has improved over the last year, is not a well thought out piece of software. Trying to explain it to my clients is difficult. Why on earth they have separated the gathering of reviews ( customer voice ) from the reviews themselves ( reputation mannegement ) is beyond me. The product is good and is a well received concept when speaking to my clients. However, you then demo the product them and you find yourself saying a lot of “ click here, go here, then to do this go here “ etc. The user journey for reputation management/ customer voice is horrible. It’s a shame as it could be so much better. Also, being given the opportunity to feedback on a product when you are the one using it so much would be good.
The problem I’m solving is being able to offer a product to my clients who want to take control of their online reputation. Even though I feel that that product could be improved in various ways.
The fantastic customer service. I never have to wait and I get intelligent answers to my questions
I haven't been offered one product/service that I couldn't find elsewhere for the same price. And the products I've used have been serious disappointments. I also don't like that I sent out Snapshot reports that were inaccurate and just pissed off prospects left and right. They're way too harsh to be accepted by prospects as anything approaching genuine.
Marketing to my meager list of prospects and posting on social is the only Vendasta services I'm using wright now. I've found better sources for everything else elsewhere.
Wide range of products and seamless brand integration (as long as you pay for it).
The monthly subscription price difference changes frequently. There is a large gap in communicating Systemwide changes and updates—account reps frequently aren’t informed of system improvements, mods or changes. There is a significant difference between tiered subscriptions. A current subscription tier will show you ALL of the products you can buy for your clients, but not all are available to you. You can get rejected after reselling, say a website under a low to mid tier, but you’re only rejected after selling this to your Client. In addition, only top tier subscriptions come with fulfillment services. The price structure and their email CRM are challenging and out dated and challenging to understand. They’re also known to change their pricing structure without updating you. Other companies offer similar services without the subscription hassle and are more than willing to white label your work. I’ve been in marketing and communications for 20 years and see a lot of newbies come in kicking the tires. They need to flatten their subscription tiers and screen agencies. Seems like anybody can become an agency today, which will eventually harm the Agency business and those of us who have invested many many years in this industry as a career.
Product And service integration Is good, if you’re paying Top dollar for fulfillment.
Holistically the platform, that provides every tools to make day to day business management easier. Sales, Marketing, Scheduling, Payment and Invoicing, all of them are connected to create a seamless experience and make life at work easier. And the support team is great!
Some essential features like products and package sorting and management are missing. Open signups are not a thing anymore which makes the acquisition side of things a little more difficult.
Helping businesses with their local marketing growth is a breeze, while allowing me to focus on providing more services that are bespoke like growth marketing, or brand strategy.
Their sales pitch, they had a very compelling sales model which turned out to be pretty much fabricated.
The company misrepresented their services and we could never get help or support despite multiple calls. On occasion we would get a call back they acted like they were doing us a favor to provide us a service we were paying for. It was an incredibly disappointing experience.
We thought it would help us serve a larger number of vlients but it only created problems as our clients were not happy with the work and made us look bad.
