Cold emailing is not fun, but Mailshake makes it easy to create templates and campaigns that are self-sufficient. It's great to be able to just watch it happen without having to go in and manually send emails every day.
There have been some issues with sending emails since our company uses outlook and outlook doesn't like sending mass emails. We have had to limit our daily emails more than we thought. It would be great if Mailshake had a system that could help with that.
The ability to have prospects automatically marked as leads once a specific event happens (ie opening or responding to emails) is amazing. It has helped us save time by not contacting people that are not actually interested in our services.
The application is well designed and easy to use.
There are features I would like that are specific to my needs.
Cold emailing and VOIP calling.
Mailshake allows you to easily create complex email marketing campaigns in order to engage your audience. One of my favorite things about mailshake is how easy it is to upload large batches of contacts into the software. This allows me to easily target my audiences without hassle. Mailshake also allows a/b testing in order to fine-tune your marketing campaigns and get the best results. Overall mailshake offers high functionality, in a pretty simple and easy to use package.
Some of the tracking and statistics features of mailshake leave a little to be desired. It can be easy to be confused with this if you do not approach it with a clear plan, however the mailshake support team is always very helpful when any issues or confusion arise.
Mailshake allows me to reach out to large batches of contacts with targeted sequences in an easy to use and easy to manage way. Mailshake would be a helpful supplement to almost any sales team.
I love that it integrates with my Pipedrive and many other softwares. Also easy to use.
I wish it had some additional features other similar companies have.

Not all replies are aways picked up. Stats refreshing can be a bit faster

The number of email scheduled is not fully controlled by the user & the function to insert image is not flexible.

The possibility to send many emails. More than hunter.io I think sometimes could be a bit priced considering that the support is a bit confusing. No inapp chat etc.
A bit confusing to build the funnels, the verifications sometimes fail and "user is on another campaign" never tells you weather the campaign is running or not. Replying from the app is not that awesome.

It's easy to get started. The campaign wizard & list cleaning solutions are helpful.
The Leadcatcher feature removes prospects from campaigns before you can actually determine whether or not it is for real. Sometimes it mistakes auto replies for real responses. And if a prospect is removed, there is no way to restart them in the campaign. It makes the Leadcatcher feature almost worthless.

I use Mailshake for emailing and my experience with it is terrible. First, it is breaking all campaigns (even scheduled), second out of office reply is counted as potential lead so it doesn't send follow-ups to those people. Third thing is that email [email protected] doesn't work, just form that I dug somewhere but that is not the end. On my question why it breaks initial campaign and information that their email is not working I got an answer 'can you tell me when you wrote us since we want to ensure that we answer....' typical support answer but without reply on my problem. I wrote a couple of time since then and I am waiting for 20 days, no answer. So, an automatic tool that doesn't automate a process and without support. I would never go into such an adventure again. Paying for nothing, it doesn\t worth even a penny.
