MailerLite is my go to small business / entrepreneur email marketing solution. The email campaign builder outshines competitors with its ease and pre-made blocks, making it quick and easy. Furthermore, the email automation is powerful and simple. It's easy for anyone to pick up and utilise to full effect, and automation is key because as an email marketer it saves us so much time. Lastly the GDPR ready forms makes my life easier being a European user - so I can confidently and comfortably grow my email subscriber list.
I utilise lots of different external solutions for my website and whilst there is usually a solution out there, the integration list isn't the biggest when compared to other market competitors. However, it has not caused an issue, but limits my choices a little bit.
Automation is the real key for me as a MailerLite user. It has allowed me to build flows that deliver content and continue to engage with my subscriber base. I can focus on other important aspects of my project and let these automatic emails do their thing. I have also been able to link automations to different email lists and because I aim to deliver different content via email, this makes the complexities much simpler.
Has all the features I need in an email marketing platform at a great price.
It can be a little slow to load at times.
I've used it for create automated customer review campaigns.
Ease to use. Plenty of useful options. Constant improvement by support team. Price compared to other services.
Sometimes I fell the language differences get in the way of quick support resolutions.
I now have a way to contact my readers directly and create a much more intimate and loyal following for my writing.
Customer service is always there to help. This is so important when you need a question answered right away. Using this free for up to 1,000 followers is great when you’re starting out. The platform itself is user friendly and emails look great. All in all, a win-win for the customer.
At this moment there is absolutely nothing that I dislike about mailer light, it is truly meeting my needs.Once in a while I don’t get notified of an email subscriber. But this is a minir issue imo.
I have learned how to make an email funnel and mails go out to followers without a hitch.
I love Mailerlite!! It’s so easy to use, the interface is so clean and crisp. I also love the ability to pull through posts from Instagram or Facebook. Everything about it is just super easy! I’m moving all my clients from MailChimp to Mailerlite and they’re loving it too :)
I don’t dislike anything about Mailerlite yet
It’s just so much easier to use than other programs I’ve used in the past .... it’s saving me and my clients heaps of time
I love that I can make beautiful drag and drop emails.
I wish the navigation was better. I always have to dig around to find my campaign or automation. I wish I could put personalized data on landing result pages like you can in emails.
I can send personalized emails and collect info via landing pages.
I love Mailerlite's easy set-up. I can create my newsletter quickly, AND get it out to my readers immediately when I'm ready. I also love having a report available for each newsletter, so I can track exactly how many opens and clicks I had. I'm a happy customer!
I can't think of single negative thing about Mailerlite.
It's just made my life so much easier with it's ease of use. Also, I'm getting more feedback from my readers since I started using Mailerlite. That's always a good thing!
I'm good in my job (health) but not necessarily in software. That's where Mailerlite makes the difference. I tried other software before but they only gave me stress. Mailerlite is so well designed, it is logical and light, not complicated and at the same time it can do everything you need to manage your online contacts.
It would help me if there would be a 'hover-over' information button next to the different buttons. I would see in a glance why I could use that particular function. Now I still have to look into the help files.
I started from scratch building a mailing list. I used the automation to follow up with a number of people. I used the forms to get data from people visiting my website. I can follow up the people who are checking my download page. Etc.
Email forms and landing pages look professional and modern, it is easy to navigate through settings. Customer service is fast & friendly! I love how simple it is to create an automated email sequence as it is laid out visually. Everything looks pleasing to the eye.
I would love to have more options for drag & drop when I'm creating emails or landing pages. Either more options or a way to customize the existing ones better. Now it is quite hard to add images freely. I find myself improvising also when it comes to placing text on landing pages.
I'm quite new to online marketing and MailerLite didn't seem intimidating to start using. I'm actually amazed by how simple and straightforward it has been and I'm able to help my clients grow their businesses. We are raising customer loyalty and increasing sales.
Mailerlite practices simplicity in everything - I've used several email clients over the years, and this one has all of the functionality I'm used to, but in a streamlined platform, and with a pricing structure that actually makes sense on the scale of the small business. They're also transparent about their pricing, unlike some of their competitors, who can be misleading and confusing about how their tiers and such work.
While I think the templates are clean and consistent, I have seen more attractive ones on other email platforms. As someone who values a simple layout, though, I've found that what is available still suits my needs and gets me where I need to be. Just make sure you consult a designer (let's be honest, it's a good idea regardless).
I have a list that's around 3,000. When I was making a decision, it was mainly focused on finding a tiered pricing system that didn't gouge me, and allowed for a bit of growth. So my initial problem was cost. Beyond that, though, I've loved the split testing options. I'm in marketing, so I know how important it is to test your assumptions and language. I've found that to be one of the benefits I've loved the most.
I would say this at the top of my house every day. I have tried a couple of other ESPs but when I found MailerLite I stopped looking further. Why? First, the free package feels like a steal! You have at least 1000 subscriber slots free with no time limit. Now, that is amazing! The tool is also well thought out with plenty of features -pop ups, flow automation, landing pages and integration with other platforms. But the gist of it is the ease of use. It is a complete WYSIWYG. With other ESPs I felt I didn't have control and that things were too technical, bit not with MailerLite
I feel the landing page feature could be improved. The MailerLite team should work on adding more landing pages with variety in each category.
MailerLite has made it possible to build beautiful emails due to its rich email blocks. I can automate the on-boarding of subscribers with an email sequence. I can create eye-catching newsletters in no time.
The easiness of automation has helped me grow my list in a short period of time and have a more engaged list with a welcome sequence. I tried setting up automation on another email platform that starts with an M and it was so clunky and difficult to move the order in a sequence of emails that I gave up.
That you can't have preset branding colours. This wastes so much time having to reset your colours over and over for each new block. Really gets me annoyed. Frequently, I can't get a block to centre the words or align left. I can never figure out why it won't let me change the alignment and other times it does.
Joining lists together from various sign-up platforms and setting automation for them all so I'm not having to have multiple automations for my welcome sequence.
The ease of creating my emails and the professional look of my emails are the reason I have stuck with MailerLite for my email marketing plan. I can easily change pictures, headlines and links with ease so that each mailing keeps my distinct logo but has a fresh new look and attention grabbing headline and picture if needed.
I really can't point to any real downside of MailerLite to be honest, but if I had to nitpick I would say that some of the new features that are available just don't pertain to my needs.
The problems I used to have was the construction of the emails. Now that I do both text only (may put a picture in it) and also at times conventional newsletter looking email's I spend way less time on the Newsletter because I have easy to build and great looking templates to use.
I searched for a very long time to find the most suitable emailing product, and MailerLite had everything I could ask for and more, from the ability to connect with my Shopify store, landing pages, and ability to create beautiful emails... but when I saw the PRICE, I knew MailerLite was the one for me! :D As a very small Aussie business, price is so important, so thank you MailerLite team for providing such an important service.
There isn't anything I have found that I really dislike
Retargeting my Shopify store shoppers when they forget a product in their cart. I have a retargeting email campaign that lours these shoppers back to the store.
I switched to Mailerlite a couple of years ago because of its very competitive pricing... and I've stayed because of its fantastic customer service, ease of use, and continued competitive pricing. Anytime I've had a question or a problem, tech support has been patient, professional, and super quick to respond. They've gone well above and beyond the support I have(n't) had with other companies, and I highly recommend them to anyone who asks about an email provider.
The search feature when I'm looking for answers can be a bit cumbersome and isn't quite as intuitive as I'd like. Because I don't know the 'right' terminology, I can sometimes find myself wading through answers that have no bearing on the question I'm trying to ask.
Mailerlite's automation has made my life SO much easier. I maintain two email lists for two different author pen names, and with the ease of setting up groups and automation sequences, I've been able to set up super easy-to-maintain funnels as well as schedule regular emails for all my subscribers. I love that I can just let things run in the background without worrying about them or needing to check up on them.
MailerLite has many powerful features and... all of them are easy to use. Some other email marketing systems are very difficult to use or clumsy: Mailerlite is neither.
No email marketing service is perfect (or at least perfect for any kind of user). There are some features that I think should be implemented, for example being able to deliver messages at the time when users generally open the messages we send (based on statistics).
I can keep in touch with my clients more easily than with other services I've used in the past. User interface is really friendly and minimal and this means saving a lot of time using the service.
I created my first autoresponder series with Mailerlite in January 2017 and loved the ease with which I could do it, the educational videos and content and the wonderful staff that helped me in real time while I was still on a Free Plan. I find Mailerlite to be innovative, progressive and genuinely caring about their clients, which is a major plus point for someone who is not a techy type. I wish I had discovered them earlier!
I wouldn't call it dislike but it would be nice if one could store downloadable documents in their server instead of having to link to 3rd party storage or to one's website. Still I'm happy with what's being provided.
I've actually been able to discover how many visitors come to my optins and how many complete the process. This enables me to consider tweaking my landing pages and also the popularity of the optin. I'm getting better analytics for my emails. Another benefit I've recently tried is the inbuilt Survey which means I've been able to remove one more tool for my business because Mailerlite has it.
What I like the most about MailerLite is it ease in usage. I hate watching tutorials and always try to intuitively click the product and find out how it works. The majority of products are complex and would still make me watch a tutorial, but not MailerLite. It is very use to use thanks to awesome UI/UX.
The only thing I don't like about MailerLite is speed. Sometimes it takes longer than we all are used to to proceed to the next step.
MailerLite saves me time. Now I don't have to separately send each of our client an e-mail with company news but can create a campaign.
The user interface is way, way easier to use than either MailChimp or ActiveCampaign. It's perfect if you've got a small business or are starting a side business (I'm a designer by day and an indie author at night) and don't have lots of time to invest in managing email newsletter campaigns. They have done a great of optimizing for the core use case and not cluttering things up features I will learn or have time to manage even if I did know how to use them. In particular, I feel much more confident I'm sending my newsletters to the right people because of how it does audience segmentation through tagging vs. maintaining separate lists. Oh yeah, the pricing is waaaay better too.
No major downsides, I love it. One minor annoyance is when I need to remove a particular subscriber you have to know the full, complete email, not just part of it, for the Subscriber search feature to work. Sometimes the HTML it generates is a bit sloppy (unnecessary or redundant tags) but it's not a big deal.
I'm an independent author sending out a bi-weekly newsletter and the simple, robust UI makes it really easy to build my newsletters quickly and to have confidence I'm sending it to the right people versus those people who just want to be notified on new releases, emails to beta readers, etc.
MailerLite has been so helpful in automating all of my emails so I can focus on other things in my business. They make the process so smooth and seamless. I do not have to worry about remembering to send certain emails. MailerLite does that for me!
I don’t dislike much about MailerLite. Everything has been working great for me.
I’m able to create landing pages and email sequences that work on their own so I can focus on other things in my business. It’s user friendly. I also love that they allow you to use the platform for free until you reach a certain amount of subscribers. It’s great because you can use a free version of the site for a while.
