Finding new contacts as well as updating existing information using Clearbit's great Salesforce integration is seamless and very valuable for our team. We also run outbound campaigns using visitor IP data and could not effectively do this without Clearbit.
Prospector works great for most industries but often does not have the contacts we are looking for in higher education.
We keep our contact database up to date and empower our sales team to quickly prospect within Salesforce. This saves our team tons of time and eliminates issues caused by outdated data.
Our sales process was very valuable in understanding our needs and providing solutions that we wanted. When we signed and onboarded the process was seamless and we were seeing value in a ver short time. The product is great, and we're getting tremendous value already.
No negatives that we've found yet. Some minor field mapping issues but support helped us very quickly on that.

When looking for contacts within a smaller or emerging brand, contacts can be limited but I'm sure that is the same for all other tools.
I mainly use Clearbit for prospecting and it has helped wonders with my outreach.
I love how this lives in my gmail and gives you search functionality for companies and position type.
I'm not sure how Clearbit is getting it's data, but sometimes it's not entirely accurate.

Clearbit has fantastic integration points with Salesforce. The setup menu was easy to configure. Clearbit captures genuinely useful information. Reps particularly like that Clearbit displays phone numbers. They often find new registrants miskey a number, so they use Clearbit Enrichment data with more success making connections. We also have used Clearbit to mail visitors to our website. We're currently evaluating ROI of the program. The possibilities of Clearbit/Salesforce integration are only limited by creativity. I look forward to configuring more automation with the tool!
General admin configuration is easy, but troubleshooting is more difficult. For example, the process documenting email domain mapping does not work well with free email domains and I had to contact support and run through a serious of emails and meetings to have a script scrub out the free email records. We resolved the free email issue. I'm working with the Sales department to automate lead routing using Clearbit to enrich leads. We're very excited for this project to conclude.
We use it for lead enrichment when people don't fully fill out a form and this works really well but we also started to use the Prospector tool both in sales and marketing with great effect. Our CSM, Erinne, helped me setup an awesome report that will show which contacts at current customers have had a job change allowing us to more proactively get a new champion.
Each time I talk to them, they come out with a new feature that helps our team. No big complaints.

It's amazing how easy it is to use and how many contacts are available to search.
The only issue I have had was getting a colleague set up with the gmail extension so he could search for email addresses, directly in Gmail. (could be a user error :P)

With Clearbit Enrichment, our team is able to add contact info with one click instead of the 8-10 clicks it takes to manually enter first name, last name, title, email and phone number.
The enrichment and prospect features are amazing and make navigating through leads simple and easy. The ClearBit reports are also very helpful.
There is not a great way to search by region. The best you can do is just pull a lot and filter through excel or use a report to compare numbers and company HQ.
ClearBit's data is extremely accurate and helps us reach our targets. The data fits into our Salesforce fields and objects making reporting and searching a breeze.
I like that I can find a contact then instantly make it into a record so I can use it again next time I come through.
I do not like that if the contact isn't there, there is no way to delete it

So far the only hitch is the Pop Up blockers can disable the feature at times.
Finding good contacts to prospect for potential customers is always a challenge in any Sales Environment. And this Clearbit is an extremely useful tool in overcoming this challenge. It takes out a lot of the time spent to hunt down contacts and allows you to use that time for other aspects of the sales process.
The amount of time I haven't had to spend trying to guess a prospects email address because of Clearbit, is incredible.
Sometimes the contacts are old but it's pretty infrequent so really not a bad deal.

I rely exclusively on Clearbit to clean and enrich my lists. Frankly, as someone who has to manage thousands of relationships, I need Clearbit to keep my contacts up to date, clean, and accurate. The database is the most accurate I've ever used.
The UX is is a bit primitive. For an API service, I find them hard to get ahold of for partnerships and integrations.
