The fact that you can easily connect with any of your prospective leads and get decent results at a nice price, is pretty much the best thing about this software. Really like the smooth interface as well.
Sometimes it takes long to load or update the data of the profiles but that is nitpicking at best.
Understanding the market, generating leads, finding potential collaborators, insights on investors, etc. This has all been possible via the use of this app, and it's pretty cool!
Gmail integration makes it easy to find contacts while writing email
Clearbit is less effective for global companies
Clearbit helps me find new conracts
Speed of delivering link to there linkedin profile and always an IT contact.
Some email addresses are incorrect and employees no longer work at company clearbit specifies. The length of the trial is not long enough to try all features.
slow loading times. dont know when companies change names. benefits include links to users linkedin profile page.
Integrated into my Gmail account so I have it at my fingertips
Sometimes lacking in contact breadth and some level of ease of use
It's a very useful tool for prospecting
It makes it easier to do lead gen and dissect data like never before.
We've just begun using the software so I don't have any dislikes at the moment
We're using clearbit mainly to track anonymous website data
My coworker introduced me to Clearbit. I liked the idea of it and tried it out for a while - I still have it installed now I just don't have it connected. I work in sales so I like anything that allows me to have information about my leads right in front of me, it is convenient that way.
Maybe it's that I'm older than most people on my team and not the biggest tech expert. But I found the process to "install" it on my computer a little confusing.
It saves me time. Like I said earlier, being a sales professional even if Clearbit were a little hard to use it still brings more benefits than harm to me at the of the day, even if the benefits are marginal.
Ease of use. Just a simple click and the relevant information is shown
Less information than needed. Often unable to find the data I need.
easy search of contact information
The lead generation tool is perfect. I like that it will collect and create profiles for leads.
The tool is great but I would rather see the pricing be based on usage rather than monthly.
I am using it to prospect new leads and build a bigger database for my clients. I have realized the benefits of collecting based on domain.
Finding and verifying email addresses for outreach and comms.
UX has become clunky since change to clearbit
Finding or resolving email addresses - extended network.
Data was generally pretty accurate but lacked a lot of individual's names. I liked the Chrome extension when I used it frequently.
More names would be good, but no real dislikes.
It's more of a supplementary tool.
What I like the best about Clearbit is that since it is automatically integrated in Salesforce, it becomes a tool that doesn't take additional effort to utilize. It automatically displays relevant information should it find any and we do not have to do extra work to get that information.
There are some issues with accuracy that can cause additional work on my end when they happen. An example of this is when it does not population information on a company that is easily found like a FB page or LinkedIn page; also there have been times when it pulls info on a completely different company that is seemingly not related.
Clearbit help my work by providing me relevant business information and links that save me time by not having to scour the internet to find on my own. These links consist of Facebook pages, Linkedin pages, and company websites.
I downloaded the Chrome extension of Clearbit for Salesforce Lite. After installed, it worked right away and had the look and feel of a native Salesforce Lightning component. I had to spend time to make sure I didn't install an app. Gives great information like a company's name, type, location, phone, employees, revenue, etc. Great place to find infographic information for sales reps.
I do wish Clearbit had some more detailed numbers and had the ability of having hierarchies. I am in a role of data governance and filling out the company infographic information and it is lacking in certain areas to competitors like D&B Hoovers, Experian, and ZoomInfo.
I have it enabled in Chrome to be able to see fast (and reliable) insights about customers. It allows me to fill in some information for customers I have been unable to find from other sources. Having the ability to get the correct contacts can be a game-changer.
Clearbit is a great way of streamlining the contact collection process. Finding good contact info can be a struggle, but Clearbit consistently has info that other systems do not.
I think the Clearbit extension is a bit difficult to use. Improvements can be made as far as mail/SFDC/etc. integrations go.
I've gotten in direct contact with significantly more people because of Clearbit. In our roles, getting our message in front of prospects is the mission and Clearbit makes this mission much more feasible.
Having data live directly in Salesforce. Not having to import from LinkedIn then refreshing the account in SF. Having it all in one place is helpful. The enrichment is helpful for inbound leads. The prospector does a good job presenting other contacts that could be considered
This is likely more on me, but the integration wasn't always seamless. Had to tweak a few settings to get it working. Did not always have the specific titles I was looking for. I target a niche within a niche, so not necessarily a fault on Clearbit.
Identifying prospects at accounts that are already in Salesforce. Save time importing contact info from Linkedin
Very easy setup and onboarding allowed us to leverage and see benefits of Clearbit immediately.
There are still a decent # of leads that are not part of Clearbit's database. Some of the field mappings do not seem to always work.
As our sales team expands globally, Clearbit has allowed us to much more easily route and assign leads, contacts, and accounts. The information it provides reduces manual research work that frees up time for our sales ops teams.
The broad diversity of people and companies.
Hard to search unless you know exactly what you're looking for.
leads.
Clearbit is a solid tool to get a general background of a contact you are approaching and the plugins are great.
I've found that the data doesn't 100% prepare me for approaching a prospect. The Interface and UX makes it difficult in the day to day to get a full rundown of info on the prospect.
Clearbit has helped with both prospecting and initial contact both via email and phone.
I like the fact that the application is within Salesforce. It adds data and lets you reach out to different contacts.
Sometimes the data is incorrect or for example the company name that it creates cannot be saved. For example if you have an account name in Salesforce and create another contact you can save it, it will say error.
Allows you to reach contacts faster, it populated the data in Salesforce, so it saves time in that aspect too.
the quick, useful information on the company/contact I'm addressing then appearing in my view.
It is free, I'm thankful for all its benefits.
