Bullhorn has a powerful interface, both in their app and in the desktop version. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Outlook, which made the scheduling of interviews so quick and straightforward. All recruiting measures were trackable and reportable if needed, which we frequently used to measure our successes and provide rewards to staff.
The app could use a few upgrades. It could text candidates directly, but there was a character limit on the texts, so you'd sometimes need to send several through to get the entire message across. If the app could house, send and receive documents via dropbox or google drive, that would be a great advancement for the I-9 verification purposes as well.
We quickly reached out to candidates in a very fast-paced industry, more often than not, to be the first recruiter to reach their application.
How user-friendly the platform is, it really helps with training new users
The platform would be more helpful if it was completely customizable, with features in the platform, not having to purchase outside help
The problems being solved are source tracking and applicant tracking. Benefits are seeing company wide notes.
How easy it is to navigate! You can easily find candidates and import them into the system. As an agency we also use it for sales as a CRM.
It's definitely a better ATS than CRM but overall gets the job done. THeirs always small suggestions but they make constant product updates.
We keep track of all of our client and candidate relationships using Bullhorn.
The best thing about Bullhorn if to contrast it with other comparable companies, is how simple and easy the software is designed, which includes easy installment and usage. So as to suggest this program you don't need to do anything unprecedented, and the procedure itself shouldn't take much time. Likewise I like the way that engineers truly care about improving the nature of what they offer, so updates come over pretty frequently, and every one of them is in any event bug-fixing, which is extraordinary.
There isn’t a big list of problems, yet something to make reference to has been found too. Most importantly, making and sharing reports if consisting of large measure of information with Bullhorn is an ill-conceived decision. In this situation the program starts lagging which ultimately has to be tackled by rebooting the entire system.
Bullhorn is a software designed to tackle all kind of functional problems in sales management and promoting a brand. This software is cloud based, which provides by locating a large audience, convey the audience and initiates brand promoting to potential clients. Additionally, it also comes with an inbuilt client insight technology.
Bullhorn keep their CRM fresh and ahead of the curve. It's great to know you have the newest tools ready at your disposal.
The marketplace is expensive, and it could be argued that some of the products should be standard with the Bullhorm CRM.
General recruitment is a smooth process in Bullhorn. One of the main benefits is 'Pulse', which is helping us better understand our clients.
user friendliness and API options. The parsing software is fast and intuitive.
cost is high but the integration and customization is fantastic. You get what you pay for.
Data administration and quicker reporting and candidate experience is excellent.
Tracking, tearsheets, and the tasks. Being able to see who specifically applies to each job. Seeing so much information and having the emails linked to the activity/notes
Searching can get tricky if one category is off. It’s hard switching candidates in tearsheets when you’re tracking them by job titles/categories. Also wish there was a way to filter your links to people you have contacted or looked at/made a note about and ppl you haven’t. Also can’t edit notes anymore
Makes things a lot easier. User friendly and easy to catch on. I can easily find all of my candidates
I like how simple it is to use once you learn it. Learning it can definitely be a little overwhelming but I have found that the longer you "play" around with it, the easier things become. This is definitely a system that becomes easier with use.
Sometimes searching candidates can take longer than I would like. For example, if you have more than one candidate with the same name, only a few will populate and you will have to type things out in a different way in order to pull every single candidate and then sift further. It's easier when you have contact information but when you just have a name, then it gets complicated.
I like how easy it is to keep track of everything you need to track within this system. I also like how well it tracks notes and keeps everything in a smooth chronological order.
The ease of use and ability to integrate with multiple platforms
The search function could use some improvement. At times it does not find candidates if you do not use the entire name.
Tracking candidates and ensuring the proper recruiters get credit for candidates.
Program does almost everything. Connects and tracks communication via email and several other apps like TextUs. Customizeable.
Search bar tends to have connection issues and sometimes the server goes down, leaving us completely blind for a period of time - but this is not often
Able to find profiles and track contact very efficiently. Years of data. texts, emails, calls
Bullhorn is easy to use with the many tabs that you are able to pin on the side of the platform. Can filter results!
Daxtra - the candidate searching portal within Daxtra that runs very slow and pulls up results that shouldn't populate!
Keeping all my current candidates and prospective candidates all in the same place.
How easy it is to personalize and cater the preferences to the information you need and want.
Hard to learn how to use at first. I wish there were videos that you could reference back to, how to create a new tab, edit preferences etc.
Candidate and client upkeep, generation, and tracking.
I’ve been using BH for over a year and find it to be a great system. Searching function is easy to use, reporting is useful in observing work productivity, notes are great. Email tracking is amazing!
I wish the reports were more customizable.
Bullhorn has made communication productive. It has allowed to go back and see feedback past employees left regarding candidate interviews from years ago.
Software is intuitive and did not take me long to navigate on my own. Very powerful search functions. Like that it connects to LinkedIn. Resume parsing software works quite well. Binocular function to quickly view candidate details without fully loading their entry.
Lack of customization for emails. Would like a more marketing friendly option like mailchimp
Ability to quickly find and evaluate candidates. Great ways to organize candidates based on functions and skills that are important to our clients.
Bullhorn's SaaS model and marketplace let Vaco constantly work towards bettering the user experience.
Professional services backlog Professional services backlog
Efficient applicant tracking system
Logical flow, easy to track things with minimal effort
There are so many hidden features! Too much to even know about
Tracking candidates, interviews, etc.
I like how organized the system is. There are even tear sheets and informational tutorials to help out with full cycle recruiting.
I do not like the Daxtra search function. It is clunky and it would be much more useable if it was modeled after LinkedIn recruiters search capabilities.
We use this system as a community database across mutple offices. It allows us to track contractors and internal hires and their progress in the application process.
As far as applicant tracking software goes, Bullhorn has thrown everything into the application that a recruiting team may need to manage applicants, conduct interviews, store notes, manage roles and clients, and create a growing leverageable candidate pipeline to stay competitive and manage both internal needs and external client base.
There was some learning curve when adopting Bullhorn. Some of the features are less than intuitive to navigate to or are buried within the application. Using Bullhorn's many features for applicant tracking can be time consuming if done correctly. With that, Bullhorn isn't always 'fun' for recruiting teams to use, but it is invaluable and totally necessary to keep up with the competition in today's competitive landscape, where recruiting companies are plentiful in the current job market where the candidate's hold much of the power.
Being able to manage many requisitions for growing client base Being able to capture results of interviews Being able to grow a candidate pipeline Being able to manage candidates through clients interview process - thru all phases All of this in an effort to stay competitive, improve and formalize our recruiting process, and close more deals and being able to take on more clients.
I like that it is easy to maneuver through the software. I can run reports, perform detailed searches and have access to it on my mobile device as well.
There isn't much I dislike about the software. It is very user friendly.
I'm able to create lists, tearsheets, send email blasts and track all of my activity for clients. It makes it easy to follow up and create tasks for myself to stay focused on making money.
Integration and flexibility with other tools that we have.
Sometimes clunky to navigate around. I came from using Bullhorn which is my only comparison but I prefer Bullhorn's usability more.
Applicant Tracking and Job order tracking.
