I was treated very nicely, and they were accommodating.
I would ask for the on-phone communication to be better.
I am getting my app submitted to the app platforms.
Appypie really goes above and beyond in encouraging you to get your app set up and helping you through every step of the process. Special thanks to Nicolas for helping me out specifically! :)
The only downside is that there is a lot of pressure to get it up and running. You have 48 hours to play around with the app maker before making a decision to purchase, so in a way I felt rushed to make a commitment, though as the service has been so complete and thorough I am kind of glad they rushed me through it.
I am helping bring my YouTube content to viewers direct from the app, rather than needing them to log in to another application to "find me." My hopes is this will enable people to watch my content longer without being distracted with ads and other content.
Not much, to be honest. Just disappointment.
I thought I had canceled the account (the UX was unclear for that function) - but apparently not, and the full amount was withdrawn from my card. The customer service rep. claimed that they had paid upfront for servers and whatnot and therefore could not reimburse me. Seriously, if that's the case then you need to rethink your contracts and policies.
Nothing.
Nothing. I didn't use it and I didn't want it.
Everything. If I ever need an app builder I will definitely look elsewhere. It's literally impossible to cancel a subscription. I never wanted it I was just revioewing the sote as I planned my strategy. I got billed. I spoke to finance they said you have an open subsciption so we can't refund your money....but you can't cancel your subsciption. I responded and was ghosted. They instructions they provide are incorrect. I can get everything resolved with my bank but that really isn't the concern. The biggest concern was the way the event was handled. If there is one thing that I've learned working in software is the experience for your customer needs to be right. This was an example of doing it wrong.
Solved no problems that I had or have.
I used to like their customer service, but definitely not anymore. They have the subscription I paid for, but after this, I am no longer going to work with them.
They say they will do something, and it doesn't get done correctly. I believe they know, and they keep you on hold and waiting purposefully. Never again. I cannot disagree more with the way they work.
Appy Pie is simply not worth the money unless you have a lot of time to go over and over the things you need. I have wasted so much time and money from investing and sales that have not come through, that I will never recommend this again. I have in the past, but not anymore.
On the positive side, the user interface is very intuitive, but with Apple's recent privacy changes the app will only work with the most basic designs.
I wish it will work with our location services. Apple continues to deny the publish.
We used Appy Pie to build an app to market in only a couple of weeks. Had we outsourced to a traditional developer it would have taken months at 10x the cost.
