Photoshop is always changing and upgrading and becoming more user friendly.
Sometimes the changes seem a little useless- there was no reason to change the resizing tool.
Personalized marketing is a lot easier to make.
I love that this is a simplified version of Adobe Photoshop. It is a bit more basic but has a way more user friendly interface!
Because it is a simplified, easier version of Adobe Photoshop, you are limited in regards to what you can actually do in the program.
We now have users that have less of a proclivity towards these types of programs finding they are able to finally learn and work with graphics!
Photoshop elements offers us automatic creation of slide shows and collages. It also has an easy photo editor, which even a novice will understand.
Sometimes the program fails, but this phenomenon happens very rarely.
Easy photo creation and editing
Lightweight, good amount of tools, integration
Could have more customizable tools and interface
Quick on the fly photo edits. Quick fixes.
Photoshop elements was the perfect software for my editing platform. I use it all the time to process my images in my business.
I have no dislikes currently with photoshop elements.
I am able to process photos faster through this program. I highly recommend this to all my photography friends.
Photoshop elements is a simpler version of photoshop, great for beginners or casual users. It still holds many features, but it gets straight to the point and allows for editing to be done quickly and efficiently.
After using this compared to Photoshop, it is lacking in some areas. I do use these programs in a professional setting however. Photoshop Elements is not necessarily what I go to every time, but it is definitely worth a try for a more casual user.
Simple photo editing for photos that are already close to perfect.
Easier to use than photoshop and a great platform for beginners to learn how to use photoshop before switching to the full version.
Inability to do some more advanced techniques so this is not appropriate for an industry professional.
This makes photo editing more accessible to people because it is easier to learn how to use and therefore more people can have the ability to make basic corrections to images.
The ability to edit images and graphics.
The only thing I don’t like is the cost.
The benefits are that it is great for raster graphics and image editing.
I love how all the basic tools are easy to find in the default layout settings. I also enjoy the way that I can search within the application to find any settings or tools that are not clearly visible when you first load the program.
I dislike how expensive it is, although I understand that I am getting what I am paying for and nothing less, so I do not mind completely how pricey it can be.
I realized that its cheaper to buy in bulk and you can use Photoshop Elements for a lot of the same projects as you would if you were using flash or dreamweaver.
I loved being able to edit my props for my landscape designs. Really great and easy to work with. Also edited other photos with it as well!
Of course that it isnt free, just can't afford to keep it. But it's really a great tool!
I solved making a few image props for vectorworks, for 3D landscape designs. It's awesome. Also solved the problem of editing photos for my Twitch account. I like to stream and having a nice profilce page is important.
While the full version of Photoshop gives you a LOT more to work with, this version pack a punch with what's included. I found that I could complete my entire workflow without issue on the Expert mode (as opposed to just using it to "Organize" or whatever else).
I don't like that Photoshop Elements launches into a dumbed-down preset that I have to change to Expert mode. There may be a way to fix this, but I didn't look into it because just leaving it running in the background worked for me (I used it daily).
I needed a quick way to edit photos with quality tools.
I like that you can learn in the process while still professionally editing your own content
I think they initial trial can be longer. Before I was able to get the hang of it my trial ran out. But the purchase afterwards was worth it
We can edit our own pictures and create realistic edits without having to shell out money to third party companies when it’s not necessary
Adobe Photoshop Elements is the best program in its field, second only to Adobe Photoshop Pro. Anyone serious about photo editing or photo enhancing but is still new to the whole concept needs to have this program. It's simple to use and a great start down the Adobe pathway. It's a great program for beginners.
It is not as advanced as Adobe Photoshop Pro and is missing some of the more intense programming power, but it is meant to be a simple photoshopping / photo enhancing program, for beginners.
During a normal day at work, people submit anywhere between 50 to 200 photos to me for editing. While I know how to use Adobe Photoshop Pro, using Adobe Photoshop Elements is the perfect quick and easy program I need to do some simple touch up on photos, fix up lighting, crop out the photos, resize everything uniformly, and get them in and out as soon as possible all within the same amazing software.
Adobe Photoshop Elements is a x-axis & y axis graphics editor for beginner photo-geographers, image editors & any users. it contains the fewer & simple options as compare to professional version. The Photoshop Elements allows users to edit, create, organize & share images.
- it's expansive : Photoshop Elements costs $99.99 (or $149.99 for a bundle that also includes Premiere Elements video editing software). - This is the single license only allowed one at a time. This single license is not to be used on both computers at the same time. - Elements has fewer options.
The Photoshop Elements is a photo organization and an editing suite that makes it easy for photos management, editing and simplifying. - Automatic organization of photos - Sort by date, subject, people etc. - Auto Curate - Smart Tags - Search function - Photo enhancement in batches - Facial recognition - Find by places and events - Step-by-step guided edits - Background replacement - Artistic overlay effects - Watercolors
Meets basic needs for photo editing, when you don't need CMYK support or advanced vector-based capability. Pricing is very reasonable.
Would like to see multiple-page capability for projects.
Have touched up many photos for slide presentations, professional headshots, brochures, marketing materials and website graphics.
the easiest and most simple product to learn to use, but with endless possibilities for what you can do with it.
obviously not as advanced in some areas, adobos indesigbr or example would be better for layouts
easy and simple design work
This software is fantastic for entry-level photographers, image editors and those who simply enjoy editing in their free time. The program allows users to create, edit, organize and share images for free, with quick exporting times and better than average tools for a free application.
It contains most of the features of the professional version but with fewer and simpler options, which can sometimes prove difficult when on the go editing on an iPad
Quick export times and no required subscription (free!)
Photoshop in of itself is a pro-level beast with features that most people don’t need. Elements provides a cheaper version that satisfies the needs of most customers, including me.
Ease of use is still not its strongest feature.
Basic editing needs
I mostly like the convenience and some of the options that are available. I was impressed with the ease of cut out an object and place it onto another layer from a mobile app. I have not had another app perform this action more accurately and with as much precision.
I don’t like that there are so few options but I guess that’s why they have the regular Photoshop app as well. I also think that all the apps should be consolidated into one app. Switching to one app to cut out of a photo then switching to another app to paste that cut out photo takes away from the experience.
Being able to use this gives me a way to complete designs at my own convenience and quickly .
I really like the auto adjustment feature and the ability to adjust the auto adjust the way I like. When working with raw files the auto feature cuts down on time. Also the organizer is very easy to use allowing quick access to photos for printing. It is feature packed and easy to use you will find it to be great for your editing.
I don't know of anything that I dislike The software is easy to use and has lots of tools for basic and advanced editing.
Faster editing and turn around time allows me to get pictures to customers quickly. Allows me to organize and print quickly and to be able to print packages and Collage Prints.
