The option to upload a PDF and write on it, without having to download a separate program
There is no option to download a recording of the audio unless you sit on your computer through the length it takes the play the file, thus downloading it
Teaching to a large group of students without them having their cameras on
It is private and hard for non-participants to join since you need the room link to join. Also, it has plenty of features that help train and have meetings with large groups. My favorite part is that you can break people into teams to collaborate.
It can be a little tricky to create a meeting and have it link with existing calendars. I'd be a good integration if this could be added.
I use it for team meetings during projects and at the company we use it for training purposes.
Love that I can use it for team meetings. It's very easy to use & efficient.
Less reading should be required. Too many sections that can be made a little more clear but I still love it.
Team meetings for my work at home employees.
The product is extremely easy to use and intuitive
We have occasional connectivity disruptions caused by lack of support when attendees are also using VPN connections
We are able to provide technical training for clients that would otherwise be unreachable
I love having everything in one window, and having the attendees have the option to use the web browser or the app. It makes things good for our students who sometimes have security restrictions on their company computers. Love being able to have PPT decks and MP4 videos loaded directly into AC. Different layouts make our lives so much easier. We can easily set up different layouts with slide decks, videos, white boards, polls...everything we could ever need for a course. We don't have to worry about screen sharing or making sure our instructor pulls up the correct slides. Their support team, even though they may not always have a quick fix, is very responsive and friendly. They always find an answer, if not a solution.
There are some bugs and glitches in it. A little bit of difficulty with screen sharing (which is why we shy away from it!), and conversion of certain PPT files goes a little wonky from time to time.
We were able to take our in-person courses to online in a matter of a couple of months. It has been fantastic. We can have all webcams on so there's that face-to-face interaction without risking COVID exposure. It helped keep our association afloat during a time when we could have easily seen major loss of revenue.
We like the environment, presenter's view, Q&A, Poll, different layouts, whiteboard and drawing tools, controcl of presentation inside the application, ability to get help from the technical support team.
Not able to remove participants who misbehave. We need to do this on some occasions.
Online classes for students we cannot run face to face
The login process for me is the highlight of all the features that this product offers because first of all, it is quick and easy to use since it uses SAML-2.0 identity for authentication which is very common. The upside of this feature is that it saves the time required to log in and teach first-timers how to log in. Its screen sharing feature does not allow me only to share my screen during meetings but also my other team members can share their screens which is very handy mostly in our organization online workshops for presentations and demonstrations.
It is very expensive compared to products in its catergory and for the cheapest subscription plan it offers a small number limit of participants allowedf in meetings.
Complex implementation processes and costs have been the two most difficult issues to solve in our hunt for communication and collaboration software. Adobe Connect has managed to address these issues easily because it can be used through the browser and this has solved different devices compatibility issues as well. Moreso using the browser adobe connect required no installation process and this managed to save costs.
clear video call and voice multiple windows and customize option easy to way arrange a video call and meeting
This system opens like a mailing system, and the icons don't make an excellent impression on people
suitable for business and organization video call meeting we can arrange many people on same time calling
With years working in the IT industry, I have used and supported every meeting software on the market at one point or another. Adobe Connect is the one that I can honestly say that I have never had any issues using, supporting or deploying. Video and Audio quality is excellent, deployment is a snap, and support is a dream, because IT JUST WORKS!
I personally have never had any issues at all with the software so I have nothing bad to say about it.
Able to take meetings on any device, and my end users are happy with it. Enough said.
Its when it is easy to log in and view the live trading sessions.
Sometimes it is not compatible with mac.
Sometimes its taking a while to download the app but when it is up and running, so easy to use.
I loved the ease and convenience of using Adobe Connect. It is a powerful tool for business.
Maybe I would only like it to be more intuitive, I feel the steps in the process can still be minimized.
When meeting with my clients, the ease and speed of Adobe Connect makes me feel so effortless in providing what's needed by them. This made me self-confident despite any challenges that came my way.
Easy installation. I didn't have to worry about downloading, etc. It started immediately.
I wish there were more instructions on features, etc.
It enables me to use my CPA software without a hitch. I do not have connections issues with the live classes.
The ease of use with the platform. I went through a two day virtual event using Connect and it worked perfectly.
When I used Connect for my two day event, the only issue was with the audio. Sometimes when using audio from the software, the speakers voice would be glitchy.
I was able to work alongside my instructor with Connect.
Adobe Connect allows me to create my pods
What I dislike about Adobe Connect is low bandwidth
The problem I am solving with Adobe Connect is to not allow my class camera to be on
It's is very helpful in training classes. Screen shares polls and engagement are really amazing.
Sometimes I run into connection issues. Usually this is my isp though. I do wish they would support more file types for upload.
Training effectively while showing others how to learn the campaigns we support.
I like all of the features Adobe Connect offers.
It takes some practice to use, but the Adobe Connect instructions make it easy.
I can control how many students participate at one time.
Easy to navigate and quickly switch to different rooms.
Old chat and documents are still in the new meeting rooms and you have to remember to delete that information before your next meeting.
Meeting clients remotely and providing documents securely to clients.
I like how you can customize each classroom based upon the unique needs and make-up of your class.
Larger class sizes can slow down the system's efficiency, especially with multiple people on video during screen sharing.
Adobe Connect is extremely useful in holding learners accountable during training and is built with great opportunities to keep the class engaged.
The persistent layout system. We can set up any virtual workshop structure in advance and modify it over time. The flexibility it offers for instructional designers is way above any other solution I know.
The connectivity instability. We often have users kicked out of the system or not hearing audio and having to try the other options (web client, different browsers, some even end up joining with the app because they can't make it work on their computer). Some of our trainers have decided not to use Adobe Connect anymore because of these.
We are virtualizing our classrooms. It was already the case before, but the covid situation has accelerated the process. Most of our synchronous training goes through Adobe Connect these days.
Flexible set up can change for each class and in class
It throwing me out and at times student sound quality Should require attendees to provide specific email or name to access so register is easier
Teaching technical material remotely
