I am very happy with the great support of the Personio support team and the Personio community. Both is very helpful, friendly and fast in answering my questions. They can give you links to best practises and are always answering very personal and individual. The support team is not outsourced. The team seems to be very thankful for critics, ideas and the report of faults/bugs in their program. The whole program is easy to use and easy to adjust if it is needed. I knew Datev before and that is all very complicated to administrate and to adjust. Personio is much more handy, open to use it for new ideas and it looks modern. Many features are self-explanatory and it is not an obstacle to make them more accessible to our users. The calender with its possibility to organise all the absences of work with individual processes is what i use the most in addition to the digital personnel files and the documentation of the individual personnel development (onboarding, appraisal interviews, performance). Frequent news concerning updates, changes, new tools and others and many ways to receive them (homepage, newsletter, community, online-meetings, asking the support).
Since our implemetation Personio changed their price model once, but the price is still ok for the benefit. With the growing of the company and the inclusion of new features / programms I am always a little bit worried about the next increase in price. I do not use the forms (recruiting, onboarding) because they were not that easy to build and make them work properly, i found. Maybe they changed it, i am not sure because I never tried it again. I think that the recording and the presentation of the salaries is not the best. It is not very flexible to adjust to my wishes. For that we are still using and Excel sheet.

The implementation of Personio was very easy because we were supported very competently and personally by the Personio specialists the whole time. Even with repeated questions, we always received an answer/solution very quickly. The very personal support was very helpful when setting up the system.
Nothing. There was nothing that displeased me during the whole process. Even now, when using Personio, the support is very good at all times.
All processes related to personnel management are extremely simplified by the software. All processes such as payroll administration, the processing and administration of holiday requests as well as time recording are much easier and time-saving with Personio. Before Personio, we had to map all processes either in various Excel spreadsheets or in paper form, this is now much clearer thanks to the software. The biggest advantage for us is the immense time savings and overview.
I can organize my review meetings right from personio and it even creates an appointment with my team mates. The recruiting package allows to post a job on several channels and with the automation package we get templates for moving applicants through the funnel. Personio saved us dozes of hours in the process of hiring new team mates. All our colleagues get transparency via personio since we collect all HR data in it and provide access to the individual team member. Furthermore we can now offer online booking of absence, sick leave or pager duty off days. This helped us in the reporting and planning for our teams and brought good visibility into the organization.
Unfortunately theer are quite some glitches in the performance module and one can sense, that it is quite new to the ecosystem. It works but would benefiot greatly from a review towards user experience. Secondly the mobile app is quite basic and doesn't offer many features besides besides booking holidays and sick leave.
With the recruiting module we were able to create a end to end hiring process across our teams. We can no receive online applications, screen these and move it through our interview funnel. The templating mechanism saves us a lot of time when responding to a large quantity of applications. The performance module alloed us to document the review meetings and feedback from our team members centrally. It helps to plan and agree on bonus payments and offers visibility for both the employee as well as the particular team lead.

There are currently no complaints or negative aspects that we could report. Even the support is outstanding and we have not yet experienced a software introduction that has been carried out so professionally
We were able to significantly increase productivity with Personio and also significantly increase the accounting processes and the management of employees. Even as a small to medium-sized company, we have not used any HR software before. I can only recommend this step towards the introduction of Personio to every company!
In my opinion, Personio is currently one of the best products on the German market. I am confident it has been developed by professionals with a strong Hr/people knowledge, as it is easy to use still very complex as a tool, very intuitive and adaptable to clients needs.

The most important benefit it is the accuracy of the data which has increased cosiderably the performance. Furthermore it is a very helpful tool in creating reportings, which were done manually till now - which has a significant time impact. Some processed have been simplified or even replaced by Personio, which allows us to be more flexible, to work from home, to have the documentation in one place.
the best part of the implementation of this platform is the integrating of the company personnel data making the rest of the implementation a smooth process. as for Personio as a whole, it is going to make our HR process more streamlined and efficient.
Being new to Personio I can not see at this time anything that I do not like about it, the processes are streamlined for easy use and the functions it gives you are user friendly.
the speed of monitoring absences is on a daily basis is one of the main reasons for signing up with Personio as we were using a paper based process.

Regularly webinars, feature insights, and office/virtual events to get to know the product and the people. They started in the last webinars to show the product roadmap for the next months and even a longer perspective -great to know that is comming.
Nothing big really. I mean, there are many improvements still, but this is most of the time for specific and detailed cases. In general, everything works really well. The performance section could be furhter imporved, as we do not use it that regularly since its not that detailed. But I hope it gets fuxe vrey soon they have a task force for that es well - thanks guys. Problems that we face at the moment is related to holidays of working students (Hourly vs daily), time tracking that adheres to rules of taking breaks and some minor UI problems at payroll. But as far as I know that is all on the roadmap for the medium term.

At Personio I especially like the extensive functions and the constant further development of these. The recruiting tool I like the most, because it is very clear and helps to save a lot of time through efficient processes.
For me using Personio has no downsides because everything is covered what you need.
Personio helps us to digitize data and documents and save them directly in one place. Furthermore we can work much more efficiently in personnel administration, applicant management, recruiting and payroll accounting.
We got rid of all the paper based processes regarding time recording, vacation requests, and much more. Also all the employee contracts and documents are now stored at one single place.
Time recording needs some improvements to be more flexible regarding overtime work
Digital time recording is a must, we are not killing that much trees anymore :-)
It is an intuitive tool that all the employees can use. It can be easily configured and the system has a lot of flexibility that allow you to personalize all the processes to cover your needs. The system allows us to track and check all the internal processes we are handling with a couple of clicks. It also works as a repository, so we are sure all the documents are safe and following all the GDPR rules. The employee can access to their records without requesting it to the HR Department. We can also track attendance, so on one hand we are in compliance with the local regulations and on the other, this allows us to work on the pre-payroll and anticipate accruals and further issues.
Despite the system is in English, it is not yet in all the main European languages. When creating a report with a lot of data, sometimes the system spends a bit of time.
Having all employees in the same platform allows us to report easily per manager/role/location. As employees have their own dashboard, they can check their payslip, their contract, the remaining holiday or request a leave. These paperwork was done manually on an Excel, the HR team has now more time to focus on other tasks. We are now able to properly track absences (holidays, sickness, leaves...), so we can work together with the operations team to manage store productivity and we make sure all the employees are respecting all the labor law requirements. Regarding the ATS, we can reduced the time required for recruitment as you just need to write the post once. Also with the ATS, it is possible to merge all the candidates even if they are coming from different sources and avoid duplicates. Reporting in terms of time of recruitment and effectivity is now much easy.

I cannot say that I do not like something. I see that the software is constantly being developed and change requests are incorporated.

Die Einführung war sehr einfach und wir konnten schnell mit der neuen Software starten. Alle Ansprechpartner bei Personio sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir fühlen uns sehr gut betreut. Die Software funktioniert sauber und sieht gut aus, das ist vor allem für die Bedienung durch die Mitarbeiter entscheidend. Die Rundum-Lösung für den gesamten HR-Prozess von der Ausschreibung, über die Einstellung bis zur Beendigung einer Anstellung kann hierüber abgebildet werden. Es ist toll, wie sich die Firma weiterentwickelt.
Manche Funktionen sind noch etwas starr. Das ist zwar einerseits von Vorteil, damit es nicht zu kompliziert wird. In einigen Bereichen wünscht man sich aber noch etwas mehr Flexibilität in den Einstellungen.
Es ist eine Rundum-Lösung für den gesamten HR-Prozess von der Ausschreibung, über die Einstellung bis zur Beendigung einer Anstellung. Wir nutzen es damit auch für diesen gesamten Prozesse. Wir müssen damit weniger zwischen verschiedenen Tools wechseln, sondern haben alle Funktionen in einer Anwendung.
