Nutshell is very intuitive. I've used 4 other CRMs prior to Nutshell and none were as intuitive. I also love the US Support with no difficult to understand accents. Also like the integrated email marketing and the reporting from campaigns. The click to dial works better than anything I've used too.
No bulk de-duping of contacts or accounts. Duplicates just keep building. I currently have thousands of duplicate accounts and no way to bulk dedupe. They need to come up with a better way to not add duplicates and just update existing accounts versus creating duplicates. Maybe they can base their means of checking for duplicates based on the domain and not the company name or somethinw.
Really nice and easy system for both a Sales CRM and Marketing Automation. It's a unified solution. Saves time and frustration
It is efficiently designed for users to access key information quickly. In comparison to the mainstream CRM options it is dramatically cheaper. It is easy to train as the design is very intuitive. It is also very easy to setup new users or deactivate users when appropriate. The mobile app is also quite good and works on most phones well.
More integrations would be appreciated to help simplify processes. A better integration with pandadocs would also be good. Or create a quote creation tool that is part of the system would be even better. It would also be good to see integrations with more chat clients and it would be useful if it worked with more third party email marketing platforms.
This helps a lot with consistent sales processes amongst a team. Management of pipelines on individual and team basis. Crucial tool for the sales team. Nutshell offers a great balance of value and features which for our business is great.
Automation of tasks, inbound/outbound email tracking, reporting--too many plusses to pick just one. Ease of use is probably my favorite bragging point on the system. Nutshell beats Salesforce hands down in the user-friendliness of the program.
The mobile version needs to be easier to add leads-- currently, we have to add the contact, then add the lead. I want to be able to do it all at once if possible when on the go.
Easier to track and follow up on outstanding quotes with the various pipelines and task assignments. Reports are now more accurate, and our staff is better informed.
Ability to track all emails being sent by GSuite or Office365. Tags where we can search for people. Sales pipeline stages and automation.
Can't send CC emails outside a contacts corporation
Keeping track of my prospects and clients
Creating pipelines for various products and processes is very simple and lets you customize the platform to your specific needs. Reminders for follow up are well designed and configurable to your cadence, making it easy to keep on top of your contacts.
It doesn't allow for differentiating transactional and recurring value on leads.
I work for a small growing business with a sales team of 3. We chose Nutshell for the integrations with our email and 3CX phone system. The activity tracking is great for ensuring everyone stays active with their existing prospects and fuels whoever is a little behind for the month.
After reviewing other CRM applications, we were looking for something that worked as well for the small business as it did for the big box business. Nutshell fit that bill.
I would like more ability to personalize my experience
Nutshell integrates nicely with our other client-facing applications. Making our processes more streamlined,
Access to contacts through both my phone and computer.
Not being about to track Emailing group distributions in each member account. This is very frustrating!
Outreach tracking. Contact accessiblity and notes no matter where I am.
The support they supply is fast and helpful. Support is friendly, fast, and almost always answers your questions right away!
The timeline in some leads gets crowded. The way that nutshell filters communication sometimes sends messages to multiple places.
Nutshell has helped to improve efficiency with the way we follow up on leads. The automated messages and email templates allow quick and easy communication with contacts to ensure customers are not forgotten.
We use the custom fields a lot and love the ability to store links to all our customers important websites and forms right on the customer's main profile page.
The only downside is if you're in an industry where CRM's exist specifically for your enterprise. Although Nutshell allows for a high degree of customization and could work for any industry. There are industries where CRM's exist pre-set for their specific business. We have customized Nutshell for our specific needs.
Working with a Team Nutshell allows us to see in real-time who has talked to, emailed, etc., which client, and what was said so we're all on the same page. And once any of us save a link to our client's website, Facebook, etc., we all can access it without having to look it up again.
The automated pipeline is a great feature that we use every single day.
There is nothing that I dislike so far in our usage of Nutshell.
Nutshell totally manages our marketing to prospects. The automation features save us time and money.
Nutshell has been great for our software firm as it grew from a startup to a mid-market company. Nutshell is very similar to us in age, culture, feature philosophy, etc. so I always enjoy interacting with the team. The Support (via chat and email) is excellent and they are always willing to hear new feature ideas and requests. The affordability makes it a great first CRM for new and small businesses.
Importing can sometimes result in a lot of duplicate leads, so data cleanliness becomes a bit of an issue as you grow. Reporting has some room to grow but it's not too bad right now.
New sales people are able to jump right in with minimal training. Workflows are customizable, and tracking prospect information is a breeze.
I've been using Nutshell for over a year and have to say it's been a life saver in terms of customising for my business needs. The fact I can easily integrate is one thing, the fact we can now also market from Nutshell is great too ... dare I say, I'll be moving away from another email marketing solution shortly. So it's win win! The constant updates and new features are super useful as are the additional training sessions.
Some little snags that I need to work out are around reporting and some of the reporting card abilities. I'd like to be able to see future activities - ie renewals due on date etc
Clear visuals on elements and easy tracking - I can see everything I need with ease and use the dashboard to report activities.
Easy to use and the dashboards are simple to set up.
They could use more automated flows and communication tools.
Tracking our pipeline.
Nutshell is easy to learn system designed to focus on the collection, organization, and filtering of sales and customer data. As a CRM tool, Nutshell focuses on the essential features for a Sales team. These features include organizing prospects and customers, leads and deals (including where they sit within your sales funnel), and business analytics. I appreciate the ability to customize the benchmark metrics and scorecard activites. This has allowed me to convey how I want my sales team to nurture their sales funnel.
As teams grow, there may be a desire to have a CRM with a more robust feature set, including automation. The ability to integrate Nutshell with other tools you may be using from a marketing or sales standpoint may also be more difficult than you would desire. This can force manual efforts for your team to create workflows and automations, but at some level, this is not the intent of Nutshell. Nutshell is great for teams that are just starting to use tools such as CRMs and provide more intellegence within their own sales process.
When we looked into Nutshell, we looked to find a tool that organized sales and lead data. Because Nutshell focused on sales and business, it was the best solution than other tools that have feature bloat. The dashboards are easy to read and understand and very intuative. As an admin user, you can customization of goals and metrics makes Nutshell data easy to share with organizational leadership to convey progress towards our sales goals. Additionally, you can have multiple users with access to their specific data while having admin users with access to all data across the system, making it great for businesses that have multiple sales representatives.
Interface, ease of use, and the integration was fairly simple.
Not really dislike - but the financial reporting aspects could be a little more functional.
Main problem that was solved was keeping all of our sales materials, follow ups, and info in one place. Benefits have been efficiency, professionalism, and remote access.
I`ve read a lot about nutshell and people say it`s only for use in Small Business and that`s totally untrue, I`m in a global company like many workers, and the software is fully usable in its entirety with the extensive information we handle in our department without any problem.
In some specific cases, only some client email domains are not accepted by the system, in cases like .net or .eu are not acceptable in all cases, it is disgusting to have to tell customers to give me another email address being the previous one their main email address.
The sales management statistics reports were very cumbersome processes to do but with Nutshell I saved a lot of time in finishing them.
I like the breadth of tools and data that Nutshell can provide for us. The user interface can display lots of data windows, but it does so in a smooth and pleasant way. I can rearrange panels and go back and forth between different metrics fairly quickly. The cost is on the low side for what we get. We can add all the dimensions of pipeline and other sales data to keep everyone completely up to speed on the status of all accounts and leads at any given moment. Nutshell is also flexible when it comes to integrations and mobile accessibility.
There are lots of customization options, but I think I prefer to work with a system that is mostly set in its ways. For example, I like that Facebook has a solid structure that allows for some customizing, but it generally looks and works the same for everyone. Maybe I'm just a simple person, but I like systems in general to be more rigid to avoid mistakes and inconsistencies between accounts.
Nutshell is a strong piece of our daily sales activities. It's an extremely insightful tool that allow us to view and publish fresh data on sales campaigns and new business activities. Staying informed is key to developing new customers, and Nutshell definitely helps to provide more information than I can possibly think of. Most team members connected to Nutshell are able to act more quickly, efficiently and confidently by being able to access information straight from each source in a centralized way. The email capabilities are also very useful for staying in regular touch with leads to avoid interest fizzling out.
all clients whether current, potential, open, closed or cancelled are already there to view when needed and all clients data and documents attached as well
Download time for history of some clients (specially old clients) may take longer time than usual
I focus on building a strong long term relationship with every client and keeping history with date and time is very helpful in this aspect
I like that it is web-based; I can access and enter information via computer or phone. There are numerous reports and information that can be configured and displayed in a usable format. Excellent CRM.
If I had to pick one out, it would be that it is not specific to our industry. That said, it still offer the ability to document and retrieve all the information we need.
We have been able to configure Nutshell on the fly and record/display information that has helped to identify essential trends and guide our sale efforts.
The user interface, open API and the integrated calling functionality.
The reporting is limited and clunky. We were sold on the voip calling being inclusive of the package however had to revert due to the high expenses Nutshell were incurring on their side to maintain our call volumes as SA costs are materially higher.
Web leads. Pipeline management. Forecasting. Lead generation. Attribution tracking.
