What strikes everyone in our company is how incredibly fast it is. It is much faster than Google Analytics. The greatest thing for us is how it fits everything together and gives us a more complete overview of the customer. We were limited to transactional data previously. We can now look at behavioral data of customers and aggregate it and put it in reports or segment it. It is really fast to set up reports. The fact that we can enrich events with attributes that we like is fantastic. When you find a segment in Google Analytics, it’s really hard to do something with it. We can choose to target customers through multpile channels right away with Exponea. It is intuitive.
People who aren’t used to setting up reports find it a bit intimidating at times. Because it is so extensive and versatile, it can seem overwhelming at first attempts to some. You can set up reports in a lot of ways. There are ways that you get lost in all of the different options and settings, but the customer support that Exponea has is really great. They answer fast, they answer correctly and they always help us. When we hit a wall, the feature is raised with the development team. Since it is so powerful, flexible and vast, it takes some time before you know what you’re doing. But once you get past that obstacle, it is extremely powerful.
Getting a full view of the customer in one system instead of having bits and pieces in different systems and reports, and being able to take immediate actions upon those findings and segmentations. The instant reports because it is so fast. In real-time we can now follow sales. There is no lag. We can monitor campaigns with all of the data that we need. We use it not only with the sales team, but we also share reports with purchasers, branding marketeers and staff higher up in the organization as well. They get reports and dashboards they can follow easily.
I love the platform, eventhough it's a bit complex to understand at first it is really intuitive when you get used to it. It allows to create really smart campaigns and complex reports which are very handy for strategy development. The help recieved from the support team is amazing and are always available and nice (lots of patience...)

Exponea is quite complicated so it takes some time to master it, although this is the case with any tool of this type. We have managed to increase sales and acquire leads much faster - we feel that we have more control over our business.
The webhook is my favorite tool. This is the main advantage of the service.

Exponea serves us well to get the best for our customers. To pave the way for them and to make sure our creative efforts are well-aimed. It helps us to solve our uncertainties (e.g. color of elements, placement of elements, behavior at pages, and so on). The benefits are endless due to the possibility to track everything imaginable. We have learned a lot from the data we get. We thought we understood our customers, but the data showed us otherwise.
One of the things I really like about Exponea is that it is by far the handiest and most convenient CRM and marketing automation tool that I have had the pleasure of working with. Even things that are initially missing are often deployed in the next update and ready to use. I really like the Slack community where you can suggest an idea about a new feature that may one day come to the app in the future.
One of the few things that I dislike about Exponea is that sometimes the new functionality does not work properly at the beginning.

Problems: Data quality you stream to Exponea is crucial element on the way to use its full potential. We call it integreation process. The better work you do in this phase, the better and faster results you will achieve. Benefits: Delivering fast (double-digit) improvements of engagement metrics driven by trigger based communication due to personalisation and content relevancy you spread towards customers over multi channels.
We have been using Exponea for a few years now, after making the switch from one of its competitors. Exponea was in its youth at the time and I feel like our feedback has really been taken on board to help to shape the platform it has become. It has been very easy to get in touch with feedback, which is listened to and used to continually improve the platform. We have had great account managers and developers, who are very knowledgeable, easy to get hold of and always willing to help. The live chat is also a great tool to quickly receive responses on quick queries.
The visual builder, whilst great and very easy to use, can be a little restrictive. It it is served by a third party company and so it can difficult to get information when the system is down or if there are any issues.
It is very quick and easy build emails and to see how the emails are performing - including any issues which might appear. We are also working closely with Exponea to create tests to serve better emails, to improve our use of available functionality and to optimise our open, click through and bounce rates.

I love how easy you can plan email campaigns for specific customers, customer segments. You can trigger by time, event category, etc. . I use scenarios a lot and I can tell you that it is spectacular how timesaving is this awesome tool. However, I know that there are lots of online CRM systems on market, but as a professional, I can tell you that Exponea made me stand This is absolutely amazing.
Nothing. Exponea works completely fine without any troubles. I have never seen such a tool before. I was so amazed about tools in Exponea you can use in the travel business/industry. Travel business is so dynamic these days and you need to be really concentrated what you are doing and Exponea also helped us with this. Customer support of Exponea is awesome, always there when I need them. 1st year with Exponea was difficult because we needed to set up everything correctly to be completely sure, that everything is running smoothly and correctly. We are running Exponea for 2nd year now and it was very helpful during the Covid-19 pandemic. We had lots of ideas on how to help our customers in communication with our customer department or claims and also a few scenarios that might help us with revenues in these hard days. Everything was set in days/weeks and we were fully prepared for pandemic waves that were coming up.
For example - we had a big problem with keeping our data in retargeting campaigns actual. Exponea helped us save a lot of money on retargeting because of daily imports of new data about our customers.

The ability to combine a customer data platform and marketing automation tool within one system. Within one tool we can quickly see where the business opportunities are, take action and track progress. The tool is easy to use and new features are continuously being developed with input from clients.
Survey tool could be better. Need to use a third party tool for more functionality.

Exponea takes something that most people believe is complicated and packages into a very easy-to-use software package. It makes it easier for you to make a significant positive impact on your business. Exponea is a very collaborative partner that really helps you move your business forward.
The only downside is there is so much the platform can do, sometimes it's hard to know where to prioritise your efforts.
We are solving several problems that we had previously thanks to Exponea. We are able to better monitor customer behaviour, improve our segmentation, and enhance our automated multi-channel communication with customers. We have improved our customer engagement exponentially and really believe that we are now providing a more advanced level of customer service thanks to Exponea.
The wide range of functionalities and ease of use. Every part of Exponea is easy to use, yet includes endless options. I haven't yet come across anything I've wanted to do that the platform cannot perform - there is an option for everything. The support team are also fantastic. I also love that everything is in one place.
There is very little that needs improvement, other than perhaps more lengthy and detailed guides - however, the support team have more than made up for this and always on hand for any questions!
Creating new customer segments with ease, including the ability to instantly target customers who have engaged with previous campaigns. The scenario tool is fantastic for being able to make quick, reliable selection criteria.
Exponea is the only tool, that allows me to track all the customer's activity in so well structured way, and utilize it with a top efficiency in my product analytics and customer journey automation. Also, multiple-ID tracking, profile merging system allows me to combine 6 sources of tracking data, empowering my 4-6 months customer journey to be continuous and visible.
The only problem I can see is the hight entrance plank for the new users. Though, all the benefits I get, definitely worth the effort.

Sometimes their documentation may not be sufficient to implement the features or complete the integration. There are certain technical limitations that would take some considerable time to have been implemented: one FCM key per project allows only one App per project for example.
Omni-channel campaign management became easy to implement and benefit from since we implemented Exponea. To show banners on our site or in our mobile app (Android & IOS) if they are in our platform (active session) To send browser push and/or mobile push if the user has left our platform recently (active session has been within hours) To send email to those users who have not had active session for a few days. To send sms if the user's email became invalid To add the user to the retargeting campaign if the user stopped reacting to our emails/ push notification and sms. We also can add new channels and test them without any costly integration by using Exponea's webhooks. A/B testing became usual for our Campaign Managers. We continuously improve our Campaign performance by introducing new logic and by changing the number of touch points and playing with the new offers. It is very easy to use A/B testing in Exponea and you can basically a/b test anything starting from one channel/campaign to the multivariate/multiple mediums when your A variant is consequently replicated through all touch-points during the campaign. Customer data management and tracking as well as deduplication and merging all identificators to have 360 customer view and act upon it by sending the notification to them via the most recent interaction or preference history (so we won't send the email to user if they have visited our mobile app just a while ago, we will send the mobile push. And if the user do not read our emails, like the last 3-5 emails but comes back after the sms sent then we will send the next notification via sms instead of piling up the unread email number in their inbox) Exponea is great in terms of managing the User retention by running campaigns that intend to increase the number of returned users and reduce the churn at the early stages when they lose interest and need attention. Yes, i am talking about RFM segmentation and relative ease of implementation of such technique. Yet your Creative and Content guys should be ready for this challenge as your offer should really be relevant and valuable for these segments. Use of Jinja, JS, SQL, HTML, CSS in creating/editing weblayers, email templates, extracting the data really helps with getting the right result and meeting business requirements. We are still exploring their features and looking forward to growing our business with them.
The best thing about Exponea is that you don't need to belong to the tech department to use it effectively. In one tool you colud, create reports, send newsletters/SMSem/Push notifications, recommend your products in different channels.
The most difficult thing is to implement such a complex tool. But it`s really worth it. You must be only sure that in each side of the businnes is the team that can handle it.
Thanks to Exponea, as an organization, we were able to collect data from various sources in one tool: customer purchases in offline stores, e-commerce, behavior on the website and interaction on newsletters and SMSes. Thanks to this, we were able to look at our clients and their needs more holistically and react in the most effective way.
