Simple straightforward user interface following Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) principles. I was able to set it up to get the functionality I wanted. Was assisted by EM1
Some of the settings are difficult to find. No ability to set "Service Item" view by employee and customer/job...settable by customer/job only. The easiest way for me to setup non-billable time the way I wanted was to add PTO codes, which is not ideal.
Automated process to get hours from employees to QuickBooks without additional entry. Correct handling of holidays, vacation Able to enter overhead time (admin, management overhead) and have it go to QB with the correct payroll codes using PTO codes. Customer support from EM1
I've had great experiences with the staff! From Sarah during our implementation to Jered M who helped me on live chat. They are quick to get ahold of (live), are very knowledgeable, and I have yet to get frustrated with anyone through this process. I love that there's someone to help a phone call/live chat away!
It's a new system so there is a learning curve with the shop employees, but this will work itself out in time.
TSheets is going to make our lives in the office much easier when it's up and running! Right now we have our shop employees writing down what they're working on using a paper form. That in turn gets entered by our office staff. This is going to save us so much time and will be so much more accurate now!
Customer support is very responsive and helpful.
So far I haven't found much. Just got started a few weeks ago so we are figuring out how to use everything.

Fantastic customer support, Sydny was great in help me get our account set-up. Staff was supportive, knowledgeable, and informative in assisting me get the key characteristics of what I wanted to accomplish with the TSheets solution.
There is nothing discovered at this time that we either dislike or is a deal breaker for what we are looking to do with this solution.
Project tracking- actions, activities, and the time spent on each.
It is easy to monitor how much time I have spent on a project and how much time my associates have spent on individual project. I also love that I can see who is clocked in and what project they are currently working on.
I dislike that I cannot do anything other than manage time. There is no budget tool or way to determine what the budget is for a particular project. I wish that I could see a project status that shows percentage used versus time available.
I am solving time management issues and am able to identify parties that are not managing their time wisely and make the necessary adjustments.
Signed up for the 14 day trial and started poking around right away. Had a question, hit the chat feature, and literally within 2 minutes had everything I needed answered. This is the type of customer service I love. The first few moments with TSheets and I am going to sign up. Brad D is awesome and hope that his managers read this and give him a big fat raise!

simply keeping track of employees
I enjoyed how easy to use the program is. It's great for people who don't know how to use tech very well. It's also great for management to keep track of hours real time
The cost per user. Other programs allow you to have a monthly payment. As a company who has a lot of freelance labor, this cost program doesn't make sense for us.
We were better able to see how many hours were put on building a job. It allowed our project managers to look at their budgets differently
Ease of installation and configuration.
I have not been using it long enough to have found a problem.
I can log my time more easyly and log notes for each time frame
We are still in the process of implementing the app for the entire company, but so far it's fitting our needs quite well. We are able to reduce the amount of paperwork (about 500 sheets per pay period) to almost nothing. The employees are now able to see and track their time/PTO on their phone. The managers can see/make changes/approve time for their employees on their phone or computer. The customer service is excellent, either on chat or by phone. Alex was able to help me solve a problem today within a couple minutes! So far so good!
The managers and I have encountered a few minor issues with the formatting that can't be fixed for our specific needs. If these issues were fixed, the company would get a rating of 10.
See what I like best...
Flexible software - can be easily set up via browser and integrated with QuickBooks. Easy to use phone app allowing for quick Clock In/Out when working. Especially useful for small businesses that are not static in one location or for just one customer. Reasonable pricing.
Some fields are confusing or extraneous at first, but can be figured out and minimized.
Quick, simple time tracking for only a few employees of a small business, none of whom work together in one location.
I have only been using TSheets for about one week so not a lot of experience yet, but I did have some questions about setting up the program. I called customer service and spoke with Alexandra. She was extremely helpful, answered all my questions and stayed on the phone with me while I made her suggested changes.
Nothing yet. I haven't been using the product long enough to answer this question.
I want to keep track of the amount of time I spend on various activities so we can more accurately track utilization.
TSheets has been the easiest program to use as a manager. I have used several timesheets in my career and have not found one this easy. I have a question and decided to use Live Chat. Brad D was the person who helped me. I have never had a great experience until now. Brad D was personable, responsive, courteous, and extremely friendly. He made me feel like family. Brad D - "you da man"! And if everyone who works for TSheets is like Brad, the company ROCKS!!!!!!
Haven't come across anything that I dislike at the moment.
Being able to keep track of time that hasn't been trackable in the past. We are now able to pinpoint actual location of employees because of the use of GPS. Manager timecard editing is extremely easy to understand and perform.
Mobile device timesheets and flawless syncing to the cloud, endless reporting possibilities, ease of use. I could go on and on but time is money, as they say.
Well it still isn't integrated with my favorite cloud-based accounting platform Xero Accounting (www.xero.com). Grrr. ;-)
No more timekeeping on spreadhseets or other non-integrated solutions. No more Quickbooks Time Tracker (kludgy and seems to not be updated by Intuit in awhile). I know in real time how / whether my team members are working, etc.
We like to be able to keep track of our hours and for our guys o have access to seeing what hours they have in for the week. It also makes it easier for our guys who drive trucks daily as well because the office isn't open in the mornings when they leave
The location tracking has to be set to always on so it takes battery life from the company tablets and employees phones which is kinda frustrating and it also doesn't keep time for longer than 2 pay periods available to our employees to see
It allows our drivers to clock in, and we no longer have to use paper tracking time sheets for the rest of our employees, as well as the fact that the accounting department can pay from QuickBooks now.
All of your employees' hours are easily tracked using this tool. There are features in this program that allow you to see how much time an employee spends at each job site, as well as their time stamps and departure locations. Because the employee can't check in from any other place, this saves you money and time. A wide variety of mobile devices are compatible with the app's distribution and use.
The gps position isn't always correct. Also, the app's functionality might be a little perplexing at times. Additionally, it is dependent on an active internet connection to function.
Overall, it's a wonderful software for keeping tabs on your employees' timesheets. A significant amount of money may be saved, as well as an overall reduction in administrative burden. It's also a breeze to keep track of things because everything is recorded online and accessible from any computer or smartphone.
