While platforms like Zoom and Skype have their advantages, they may not meet the requirements for scaling operations. Livestorm, on the other hand, is an all-in-one webinar platform designed to cater to this specific need.
In this Livestorm review, we will delve into why it is one of our top recommendations for hosting webinars and online meetings. We will also explore its marketing features that can enhance brand recognition. So, let’s dive in and discover what Livestorm has to offer.
In this comprehensive review of Livestorm, we’re going to unpack the reasons why it stands tall as one of our premier picks for conducting webinars and online meetings. We’ll also shed light on its potent marketing features that can turbocharge your brand’s visibility. So, let’s dive in and discover what Livestorm has to offer.
Livestorm is a powerful webinar software that provides a range of features to facilitate seamless online meetings and webinars. Developed with the goal of offering an all-in-one solution, Livestorm caters to businesses and marketers who are looking to host engaging and interactive webinars.
The platform is designed to support a variety of webinar types, including live, on-demand, and automated webinars, making it a versatile choice for businesses. Livestorm also places a significant focus on integration, offering a marketplace of over 1000+ integrations that allow users to connect the platform with their existing tech stack.
Livestorm offers a plethora of features that set it apart from other webinar software tools. Besides standard webinar-related functionalities, Livestorm is committed to providing robust marketing tools. Its built-in landing page builder and funnel analytics are testament to this focus, enabling users to effectively market their webinars and analyze their performance.
Let’s have a look at its other standout features:
Livestorm simplifies the process of sending email invitations to attendees. The intuitive user interface allows you to create separate emails for different segments, preview how the emails will appear, and easily edit their contents.
Livestorm provides integrated chat functionality, allowing you to engage with your audience during webinars. You can choose between public and private chat options, and even make the slideshow available for immediate download as a PDF file.
While Livestorm lacks the ability to pre-configure polls and call-to-actions in the webinar setup, it does offer these interactive features during live sessions. This enables you to gather valuable insights and drive engagement among attendees.
Livestorm integrates seamlessly with various third-party apps, expanding its functionality. With integrations such as Zapier, Webhooks, Slack, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Pipedrive, you can enhance your webinar experience and streamline your workflow.
Livestorm provides comprehensive analytics to help you measure the success of your webinars. From key metrics to attendee and replay views, you can gain valuable insights into the performance of your events. The reports can be exported in Excel, CSV, or ODS format for further analysis.
Livestorm offers the convenience of impromptu meetings through its Instant Meetings feature. With just your name and a URL slug, you can quickly create a meeting room and invite team members to join. This feature is particularly useful for immediate collaboration or support sessions.
Livestorm boasts a user-friendly interface that makes setting up and managing webinars a breeze. The platform’s intuitive design ensures that even users with limited technical expertise can navigate through the various features effortlessly.
The webinar email setup, for instance, is remarkably straightforward. The interface allows you to easily preview and edit the contents of your email invitations, making it one of the smoothest parts of using Livestorm. You can customize the email texts, add shortcodes, and even modify button texts and colors to align with your branding.
During the webinar itself, Livestorm offers a range of audience interaction options. You can set up an integrated chat that can be either public or private, allowing for seamless communication between participants. Additionally, Livestorm provides the option to make the slideshow immediately available for download as a PDF file, enabling attendees to review the material at their convenience.
One area where Livestorm could improve is in the pre-configuration of polls and call-to-actions. While the platform does offer these features, they cannot be pre-configured during the webinar setup. This limitation may be a drawback for those running product demos or online meetings where real-time interaction is crucial.
When it comes to mobile experience, Livestorm performs well overall. Joining a webinar on a mobile device is seamless, with the interface being perfectly responsive. The webcam and slideshow presentations are clearly visible, and the chat and interaction tools are conveniently placed below the webinar video. However, it’s worth noting that there is a 15-second video delay on mobile devices, which may impact the overall event performance.
Livestorm is known for its reliable performance, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted webinars. The platform is designed to handle high attendee volumes without compromising on quality. Users can rely on Livestorm to deliver a seamless webinar experience, minimizing the risk of technical glitches or crashes.
Livestorm offers a range of plans to cater to different needs and audience sizes. The Enterprise Plus plan offers custom pricing for organizations with specific requirements.

However, it is important to note that the free plan has limitations, such as a maximum duration of 20 minutes per event and a maximum of 10 registrants per event. However, the pricing for these add-ons remains competitive compared to other webinar platforms.
Overall, Livestorm is a fantastic platform with a great user interface that is incredibly user-friendly. It offers a comprehensive set of features that cater to all your webinar needs.
The all-in-one functionality to take sign ups, host event, and automate follow ups with good functionality and quality at every stage.
The sign up page needs to more clearly show that the user can select from different sessions/time slots. Tighter integration with LinkedIn events.
Livestorm solves our challenge of easily bringing our leads into one online webinar place with anonymity from each other and automate our follow ups with them
The simplicity of the interface when presenting a webinar. The difference between the chat and question tabs is very helpful!
We encounter some bugs, sometimes the software is down and we don't really understand why. It's not that frequent though.
Livestorm helps us broadcasting demos of our software, educational webinars, etc. without having to spend too much time on the tech side of it all.
Very straightforward to set up events, user-friendly management tools and easy to build landing pages. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a good plug and play solution.
Not so great at running webinar series. We tried to do a webinar series with 4 events and had to set them up independently and users could not register for all in one go.
Run webinars fast and effectively. We don't have a huge team, so we need to be nimble when planning and running events, which Livestorm has allowed us to do.
Livestorm is easy to navigate and teach others to navigate. We use Livestorm to host webinars, so it's easy to teach moderators how to use the software. It is also fantastic to be able to upload slides or other documents and not have to share your screen - this cuts back on much presenting anxiety.
We have to remind speakers (if they are not using headphones) to mute the notifications, because otherwise the sound comes through to the audience if they're off mute. Also, once a webinar starts, there is no way to switch some of the settings (such as if the questions function is set to public before you start, there's no way to turn it so only moderators can see the questions).
We needed a good webinar platform, and Livestorm has been a perfect solution. It is easy to use, intuitive, and attendees don't have to download another web application to their desktop.
We've significantly increased ROI of webinars since switching to Livestorm
No native closed caption / audio accessibility options
Easier to use webinar platform for lead Gen events
The possibility of offering on demand webinars
Until now nothing. My experience with Livestorm has been doing great
The possibility of offering not only live events but also on demand trainings
Livestorm is great for scheduling and organizing webinars. The tool is easy to use and easy to learn. The possibility to customize the login page and emails of reminders.
The file of 250 simultaneous connections. When someone registers for an event, he doesn't receive an event in his calendar (Google calendar for example) and the event owner neither.
I can easily schedule webinars and invite my clients to give presentations and demonstrations of our service. I can share quizzes with them and answer their questions directly from the tool. The ability to customize the login page is great. So is the management of reminder and end of webinar emails.
La création de contenus et proposition de formats divers et variés pour communiquer avec nos clients
Rien à déplorer concernant l'utilisation de Livestorm
Une meilleure visibilité de notre activité et le partage de notre technicité
Livestorm is a really good platform to organize webinars. The features are well thought out. Automated communications helped us to reach a better presence rate for our webinars. During the webinar, we can publish as many surveys as we want and it is really easy to manage the data we collected.
Very few weak points in fact. It would have some small local improvements on the ergonomics but nothing really irritating. When there is a technical problem or other, the reactivity of their support and technical service is very good.
We can organize our webinars easily and features help us to turn them interactive! So yes we are more productive
The ability to create webinars very easily and quickly, with the pre-packaged emails for example.
It would be great to be able to keep all our data even if we stop our subscription for a while.
Now it's easy to create webinars, we save time.
It's super easy for registrants to view the webinar especially since they don't have to download an app which always not the best user experience.
Not much! I really have enjoyed my experience thus far
- Organizing webinars for clients primarily. Makes it super easy for me
We love that the whole team can be on the same webinar and use different interactive features at the same time. This is incredibly useful when we have customers asking questions in the chat that we want to answer in real time but the speaker can't get to. The automatic emails before and after the webinar are life savers!
What I dislike is that any team members already in the system as moderators can not simply register for webinars we host as a company when we don't need them as a moderator. We have to go in the system, add them as a moderator to that webinar, and then un highlight them so others don't see it on the registration page.
A problem we were having was not being able to interact with our clients or audience in a webinar. Livestorm completely solved that. Another problem was being able to operate out of the same system for three product lines, which Livestorm also solved. Benefits we've realized would be easy drip campaigns for webinars, custom registration pages, easy access for attendees, easy use for moderators and guests.
The layout-seeing all speakers, plus logo, as well as inviting attendees on stage!
Not much- all really seems quite good. TY
Engaging (not zoom) platform and love the voting on Qs and inviting attendees to participate
It's very easy to use. It supports multiple languages, and multiple moderators are standard but best of all it supports on-demand video. We looked at MS Teams but that doesn't allow you to schedule multiple sessions of the same event without recreating the session each time.
Not a lot. Our logo looks a bit squashed on the registration page. We present in several languages and there's no option currently to have a different language version of the presenter profiles.
Hosting on-demand webinars. Capturing leads from training events and hopefully correlating training to sales.
The follow up on registration and attendance, plus the integration to Hubspot.
The fact that replays are available without chat messages and polls.
Saving time on registration and not having to manage webcams and mics of all attendees.
