"Incredibly disappointing relationship"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

As a Content Management System, Ingeniux makes it quite easy for users to edit content. If a user has a decent understanding of HTML, they will feel very comfortable in the system. The organization of pages is quite similar to navigating any digital file system, so this will also feel familiar to users.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

Ingeniux has been a disaster for my organization. There are many changes we cannot make ourselves and have to file support tickets with the corporate support team to have these changes made. These changes are not only incredibly expensive, but also require us to spend hours attempting to contact the company. We have gotten to points where we had to contact the CEO directly because our account managers on the Ingeniux team simply would not respond to our inquiries or phone calls.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

No problems solved or benefits realized. Again it has been a massive headache for our business and we truly regret the decision to switch to Ingeniux.

"Ingeniux's people feel like part of my own team"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

The Ingeniux user interface for content contributors is easy to use, and there's lots of flexibility for controlling permissions and access for users. On the developer side, I love the flexibility of the system. With a little know-how, it's very easy to take projects in-house, and the sky's the limit in terms of possibilities. In my four years working with Ingeniux, I have also been very happy with their customer service and support. They have a great support department and are always available to address issues that come up for us. Taking advantage of their many service/support options, we are able to run a large website with minimal staff and not worry about employing specialized skill sets. They employee a great team of people who are enjoyable to work with. They often feel like part of my team, rather than employees of a third-party vendor.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

As with all long-standing installations of any system, our system is a bit finicky and often gives us trouble when we upgrade to the latest service releases or versions of the Ingeniux CMS. However, Ingeniux is very vigilant about helping us through these upgrading issues. We also could alleviate a lot of this hassle by switching over to their hosted service.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Ingeniux CMS has provided us with a flexible platform that we have customized to appeal to multiple audiences. We are able to build new page types and components easily, to meet new and emerging needs. And we remain nimble in terms of fresh design and content, while running with a very small in-house web team.

"Ingeniux experience"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

Customer service has been helpful when I've had an issue.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

That we don't have the ability to do any development in-house or make changes to the site easily. Many things seem to be an additional fee.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

Need a flexible content management system.

"A CMS That Moves You Forwards"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

Ingeniux is good about listening for feedback and making changes. There's no perfect CMS, but there are ones that move forwards and ones that don't.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

Modularity. The CMS obviously will bend to the web designer, but for power users who are in there often but don't have much control in the back end, things slow down.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

Forms, UTM codes to track audiences, ease of migrating to new types of pages/formats

"An incredible CMS, does pretty much anything that you can dream of"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

Ingeniux is an amazing CMS. It handles all our 12 websites with ease, manages content well, and we love it. It sends out an XML feed to your views that you can manipulate any way you need.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

There isn't much to dislike. You'll want to build it properly, and if done so right, you'll be able to get all you want our of Ingeniux.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Ingeniux for so many different applications, from email generation, to digital signage, and much more. It's saved us an amazing amount of time rather than having to build new backends.

"Fisher Price Easy to learn and train your users"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

this product is easy to understand and pickup by those who support content across campus outside the office of web technology and information technology. I have successfully trained users of all skill and comfort levels across campus in a 1 hour basics training session.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

With 360 hours, there is nothing I can say I dislike. Eventually an answer is found and a problem solved.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

it allowed us to implement workflows and permissions that in turn helped us to have constituents across campus maintain and own their own content while allowing the office of web technology, content management, and information technology maintaining the structures, branding, and a cohesive consistent branding and message through out the entire site.

"A CMS that can meet your simple needs and your complex needs"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

I like that the CMS can be setup as complex and as simple as needed. For example, we have a couple instances of the CMS running. Our main instance needs to complex with a couple dozen schemas. Another instance we have setup just has a few schemas and basic code. I also like the architecture of the CMS where the design side and the web side are separated so If we need to take the CMS side down for maintenance we can still keep the website still up and reduce any downtime to the website. Support is huge for us. We feel confident when working with support to resolve our issues.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

Documentation. Sometimes the documentation can be lacking.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

One cohesive website that meet the needs of each department and college on campus while, while maintaining accessibility. The CMS has allowed us to maintain our brand standard throughout most of our department and college sites and standardize certain information across the campus, These standardizations would usually not happen unless we were in a centralized CMS.

"We use Ingeniux CMS for content management on our websites"
What do you like best about Ingeniux?

It allows us to change content without doing a deploy of any code. This allows us to change content on non-code release days. It also allows for non-developers to make content changes.

What do you dislike about Ingeniux?

I believe that it is likely an issue with the way we implemented CMS but we only use it for content at this time. Users are not able to change the look and feel of the website. they can't move fields around or add fields. that still needs to be done by a developer.

What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for a few different things. We store our website content and text formatting. We also use it for our email content and for our email queries for automated email sending.
