One of the things that has impressed me most about Gist is that it strives to bring everything under one platform. Having the ability to run chatbots, launch drip feed campaigns, do an email blast, connect to your calendar, track users and more in one platform is not unique...but getting it all for free or low or low cost is. I have used some big-end products before and they are great, but they are also designed for the big-end of town and are largely not cost effective for your small-medium businesses. The value that Gist delivers is actually pretty phenomenal when you start working out how many systems it can potentially replace. Even their free plan incorporates full features, so it's a pretty easy choice to at least try it out. The additional kudos however goes to the fact that they continue to add value to their platform. The most recent additions have included web forms and pop-up tool which demonstrates they are a growing company that is willing to invest in its own platform as well as its customers.
Like most all-inclusive software packages, there's a bit of a steep learning curve in how it all fits together and getting the initial integrations set up. I've also found the terminology to be somewhat different to some of the other marketing platforms I've tried in the past, which at times is confusing. That said, they have a pretty comprehensive tutorial and education system to back up their platform and a growing network of users for collaboration and continued learning. On the email marketing side, they don't have design templates to choose from, so you have to create and upload your own in HTML.
I'm still in the early days of putting it's through its paces, however Gist will ultimately replace three existing separate software systems that I am using which is 1. Email marketing tool, 2. Drip feed Tool and 3. Chatbot tool and potentially even more tools via forms and pop-ups. As mentioned earlier, having all these under one roof for a low price is one of the major appeals of the platform compared to similar service providers on the market. As well as using for my own business, I also see it as a good cost effective alternative for my small business clients, particular the ones that are similarly currently using multiple platforms and paying multiple subscription fees.
Gist brings together all the pieces to create a marketing automation funnel, customer support and CRM for businesses that sell their products or services.
Not much to dislike here. My minor gripe would be the UI of the calendar for scheduling meetings. But that is probably just personal preference.
Gist allows business owners to access features for a fraction of the price charged by competitors like Salesforce & Hubspot.
I'm actually shocked at how similar this is to the competition but at a much much lower price. You don't understand how awesome the product is unless you come from something else that is almost identical. In this case, an exact replica with almost all of the same features but with a much lower pricing hassle is a huge win here. I wish I found this sooner. It literally does all the Marketing, Sales, Support aspects that the other service provides but at ONE price. Its incredible how similar they are too.
I wish their live chat support worked during US hours. I often have to wait until the next day to get the appropriate response or get the fixes I need; however, I'm ok with it.

We mainly used it for From a non-programmer kind of view it's very satisfying to get to install it and use it without any hassle. Also, their support team is really helpful and efficient.
The trial vs the pricing was a bit confusing.
It has been a nice experience to useanother channel for our costumers to communicate with us.
I love that it is a complete solution to the vast majority of my needs at a fraction of the price others offer. Without needing to cobble together a Frankenstein of tools, I can take care of my email and website marketing needs with only WordPress and GIST.
I am frustrated by their clunky client management (by their own analysis, they are not a CRM yet)
I have always felt like I looked like a small agency, no matter what the copy (or truth for that matter) is. By implementing the live chat and email drip campaigns, I look like I am capable of running a 5 figure marketing campaign for my customers. Although I am using multiple aspects of their software, I find the best value and I am using the live chat the most and their email campaign feature the second. It was my first experience with a live bot and I had no idea how valuable it would prove to be by being able to land clients on an abbreviated sales cycle just because I could talk to them in realtime. As for the email campaign feature, I knew this was one of those things I needed to do, but it felt like I was setting myself up for one more thing I needed to be on top of all the time. Instead, I was able to set it up and then let it do its magic.
the most thing i like about Gist is LiveChat widget it looks very modern style on desktop & good on mobile also live agent icons looks good too the ability to upload files is good too I like they have chatbot support & knowledge area for articles & info before starting chat
i hope they develop applications for multi-devices I hope they get better pricing with more discount offers for all in one plan I hope they develop the cart abandoned integration with woocommerce

I’ve been a fan of Gist (formely Convertfox) since after they launched their product. Since then, the product has developed with updates and new features being rolled out to assist business owners. The fact that it’s an all-in-one marketing automation platform is where it demonstrates its value. It incorporates: • Automations based on events • Email automation • Live chat & bots • Scheduling • Help desk/ knowledge base • Forms • Tracking • Plenty of integrations The platform essentially saves you connected different apps via APIs as it’s an all in one where contact data is updated along the way, from lead to customer.
Gist are constantly improving and listening to customer feedback which is great, but sometimes it does take time to implement. This is to be expected though from any company especially when there’s many users wanting all types of integrations and features added.
I’ve gone through a long list of marketing automation platforms that have their positive and negatives. However, the big plus is that Gist provides most of these features, all within the same application. This reduces the multiple touchpoints you may have with customers and makes it easier to run your business smoothly with your contacts.
