Contentstack is * flexible: for content model designers and the editors alike * reliable and fast Our business users like it a lot.
Some features are too basic: * image handling * color contrast and accessibility checking * We need more layers in reuable components.
Our previous content management solutions was not user friendly, basically a database. We're aligning content for apps and website; make content management easy to do.
Contentstack is versatile and very effective to administer contents in an enterprise environment with many users working simultaneously.
Even the register and following of tickets are good. Sometimes the response time is not the best.
Manage many websites in an enterprise environment
ContentStack is easy to navigate. Details are organized and labeled accordingly. Our team uses the app on a daily basis to implement changes on our websites. There are also features that help facilitate these changes such as scheduling and staging, which make things easier as we no longer have to rely solely on our testing environment to see how our changes would look like. My team is also able to provide feedback and get customer support from time-to-time, especially when we encounter challenges with using the app. Overall, even if it has been less than a year since we've launched our website using ContentStack, it was easier to integrate into our daily processes than we initially expected.
I hope ContentStack gives us more freedom to edit labels per categories and shift layers (e.g. nav menu items and sub-links) so that we can easily integrate terminologies that are specific to our organization. Also, I wish that the interface someday makes it easier for teams to collaborate on projects. What happens is that sometimes, scheduled events are overwritten if other team members are trying to change a different dimension in the site. Hopefully, the application becomes easier to collaborate in and that it would be strategized upon for this vision.
ContentStack is easier to navigate compared to our previous content management system. This gives us back time that we could use on other projects.
The team at Contentstack has your back. They'll work with you to address challenges, offer solutions and tweak their roadmap if possible to make their customers happy.
While highly rated the platform is still somewhat early in it's lifecycle, so if you're a large enterprise it's still building out features you might expect. However, their composable headless framework mitigates some of that concern and differientates them against their traditional CMS competitors.
Contentstack is helping us move from a homegrown headless CMS to an enterprise level platform. They are helping us go beyond building a web site to creating a modern digital platform that will allow our team to address both business and customer requirements.
User friendly. Simply select the content model you want and where you want it then fill in the content. Then after you have put all the content models together, you can publish to a sandbox and see how they all look before going live.
It takes technical know-how to implement and build the different content models. And if there was an error made at the building stage, it will refelect in all subsequent use of that content model. And instead of being able to fix it, you may just have to build a new one from scratch.
Allowing anyone on the team to create a webpage and update it later on. There is no need to put in a ticket and wait to update an existing page since it can be done on the fly.
Contentstack has made my merchandising job so much easier and efficient! The asset management and organization in itself is easy to manage and time-saving. It's easy to work with our developers to create entries that can be easily duplicated. I also love having the drag and drop feature to move around blocks and other content. So easy compared to our old, clunky tool!
Versioning can be hard and confusing when multiple people are working in the tool as well as when we are creating versions for multiple projects. There has been times where we've pushed through pages that are meant to be for a future project by accident but it is easy to go back and quickly push through the correct version. Contentstack is great for controlling what aspects of the site can be updated because most of the things are controlled from what developers allow us to update as merchandisers. I would love to have a bit more control as a merchandiser for some one-off updates. A lot of changes we want have to go through the development process which makes the process longer. Also, I wish there was a better way to organize entries instead of having to search based on tags.
Contentstack allows us to have our site assets and entries all in one place which was exactly what we were looking for! It's easy to create releases for all of our larger holidays and projects.
Once you get the hang of it, it's a super intuitive and easy platform to use. There is also a wide range of support and training available to continue growing your capabilities.
Not as straight forward as some of the other CMS software I have used previously. I also often get the different content types you can use within stacks confused so still plenty to learn here.
User friendly software that is used across our various different business units means that this platform is fit for purpose by everyone at Trade Me that uses it. I love that fact that anyone anywhere can be in the software at the same time as you and it doesn't effect what you are doing. Additionally, the ability to schedule pages to be published is a game changing feature so many CMS platforms still don't offer.
I find this platform very useful for configuring and maintaining the content of a web application. I've been using it briefly, but I think it's understandable from the beginning. It also allows the content to be separated according to type, which gives an order; this is good when the website has a lot of content.
I have no suggestions for now, I have worked well with the tool.
I'm currently working with a client, whose business is an e-commerce web application, my job is to test the application, from the functional and logical (software development) part to the content that is shown to the users, the content is constantly changing due to special dates, promotions, new articles to read, etc.
An exceptionally customized CMS which is easy to utilize and offers great help. It improves on the advancement of promptly upheld Spark applications. The Contentstack staff was involved concerning our business case. They're efficient and cordial.
There's a precarious expectation to absorb information, likewise, the ongoing UI needs assortment, which makes working on the backend testing some of the time. Issues becoming accustomed to the new point of interaction.
By bringing together our site material inside Contentstack, we've simplified it for new clients to add to our sites. We have smoothed out strategies and integrated an assortment of advances, prominently our in-house framework.
A highly personalized CMS which is simple to use and provides good support. It simplifies the development of readily supported Spark applications. The Contentstack staff was hands-on regarding our business case. They're well-organized and friendly.
There's a steep learning curve, also the current UI lacks variety, which makes functioning on the backend challenging sometimes. Problems getting used to the new interface.
By centralizing our website material inside Contentstack, we've made it simple for new users to contribute to our websites. We have streamlined procedures and incorporated a variety of technologies, notably our in-house system.

We can get many tools in Contentstack that help us in making our work easy. But still there is space for more improvement and changes in the features and tools. The dashboard can be made easier.
Contentstack is a CMS provider that provides latest services to the computers and mobile phone devices. These services include all The web development and technology based. It provides latest digital services to the customers. These services are available for computers, laptops, tablets and digital watches.
All the media files can be readily managed through one control panel. You can also review your previous content/asset and also save the last ones. You can also add security through SSO with SAML 2.0 and more.
There are no major disadvantages, but apart from seeing the built in examples it would be better to upload some of the projects on new devices such as smart watches and VR headsets.
The foremost feature is that Contentstack allows the user to upload its data to any environment of testing, developing and production.
Easy to deploy, easy to use at every level, and it helps us push push digital content quickly saving us alot of time.
There's nt much to complain about yet. I would appreciate more customized features in the future though!
We use this as our primary (and only) CMS tool for managing and updating digital content.
I really like the ease of use of the platform!
Sometimes is a little bit slow, UI could be better
We can easily change content in our website!
I like using the individual components and that you can reuse those on different pages.
Our process to do Tables and mobile tables is very time consuming.
I like the the templates make for easy page creation
