We are able to better manage our project goals and deadlines by using the Bigtime app for reporting. We are able to properly track the time and expenses related to each project.
We have just started using Big Time in the last week. So far our favorite component is employee time tracking. The timesheet function is easy to use and virtually self-explanatory. Our remote staff quickly picked up how to use it and implemented it immediately. Our Owner was able to easily review and submit out timesheet from one place rather than downloading each individual excel spreadsheet we used to provide bi-weekly. Secondly, we just began entering/tracking projects and invoicing the initial phase. I have been able to track that it takes approximately 10 minutes to enter a new project complete with all the phasing and assignments as well as create an invoice. This is a quick process which will only become quicker as we use it more and more each day. Thirdly, Big Time Wallet is going to be a game changer for C3 Design Solutions because we have had clients put off paying us because they did not have paper checks available. Recently, one client didn't sign a check they sent! But with Big Time Wallet we can get payment immediately and it worked for the very first client we offered the option.
While the program is easy to use, it is not always intuitive. There are tabs, breadcrumbs, button and field editing functionality on nearly every screen, which can make it confusing. For example, the Add (+) button, while highlighted in red, are a little small. And perhaps it should be colored Green for GO! I like how the save button changes to green when it is saving. Maybe for future design updates, the breadcrumbs could be replaced by a wizard function much like the Create an Invoice feature. That process is super simple and enables the user to quickly enter all necessary information to get started. Busy professionals are spoiled by major software design. Simple and intuitive is always best! While we appreciate the consideration of our time for training purposes, something as important as training on a new software which will run nearly every aspect of our business deserves more than an hour.
The majority of business is conducted remotely. So having a central location for employees to enter timesheets was imperative. This process was previously done in an excel spreadsheet emailed every two weeks. Now the owner can review and submit all timesheets in one or two clicks. Another problem we had was project tracking. We tried many different ways including trying to make free programs work for us. This never worked resulting in lost productivity and employee time. Big Time affords us the opportunity to enter projects, track their progress, invoice and collect payment all in one place. It streamlines our workflow and increases our productivity. Additionally, clients began requesting to pay by CC or ACH. We did not have this capability previously, but with Big Time Wallet we do! Just got our first payment and it worked like a charm!

I only use BigTime for submitting my hours to the contracting firm that I am currently working through. No problems to solve. The ease of use is very beneficial, as it does not take a lot of time to submit my hours.
We like how easy it is to enter time and adjust the reports to work how we need them to work. The level of customization is great. Marni helped us get to a level of comfortability with the program. The support is great. Definitely utilize the online articles and webinars if you have any problems, there are a lot of walk throughs on how to do some of the more complex things.
There is a big learning curve and there are so many things you can do with it. They do a really good job of explaining things, but you really have to get in there to play around with it.
We were trying to solve the issue of where our time was being spent to better utilize resources. The hope was that by figuring out where we were sinking time we would be able to allocate resources in a more organized way. We also wanted to quantify how much time we were spending doing revisions.
The training and support team is incredible. They take the time to assist with implementation, to customize the experience and always to answer any questions.
There isn't much I don't dislike about this software. There are a lot of options to select from at first, which I think could be overwhelming to someone who isn't comfortable with technology.
Integration with our existing QuickBooks company file and a time and expense software has been an issue for us in the past. That issue has been solved with the use of BigTime. We are realizing much higher efficiency with invoicing because of this smooth integration process.
BigTime provides a comprehensive platform for logging time and invoicing.
I don't know yet - haven't used it enough to see a downside.
We're now able to invoice much more quickly instead of having to physically transcribe data to new programs and invoice by hand.
We can share important data about projects with management teams as well as general information about projects with other staff without getting into the financial details. Great Project Management Tool.

As a user, it makes my life easier in terms of tracking my hours/tasks. It's also a great tool in scheduling and monitoring progress. Moreover, I could use it from a mobile device which makes it totally convenient. This is way better than the time tracking tool we used to have. It's easy to clean up since there's an option to clear blank rows. Overall, I like BigTime's interface - it's WELL INTEGRATED, straightforward, simple and clean.
We encountered a glitch on the system before but BigTime team fixed it right away. I'm probably just nit-picking but I don't like the step where I have to put notes under my hours; but it could be a great feature for other people. Other than that, I can't think of anything that I would like to change about BigTime. In a user's perspective, it is great just the way it is. But there is always room for improvement and I'm looking forward to any upgrade BigTime will implement.

BigTime is very user friendly but if you ever have any issues or just need training their customer service team is world class. Ben Kinsel is our CSM and is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He has really helped us to utilize BigTime to the fullest extent of the software.
It's so customizable that it can take awhile to get it dialed in and working the way your company wants it to. That being said, the CS team is there for you every step of the way and makes it easy.
BigTime handles all of our project management and services tracking. Benefits include scheduling with consultants, timekeeping, invoicing/billing, and all the reporting you could ever want. We still aren't utilizing the software 100% to its capacity but it does everything we need and then some.
