Adobe Illustrator allows me to quickly and effectively create eye-catching, exciting, and bright posters, digital advertisements, newsletters, and more for my organization.

Despite the convenience of picking up work from any computer, I'm still not the biggest fan of cloud subscriptions. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the "one-and-done" license purchases that used to come on CDs. Additionally, Adobe Illustrator can be a RAM hog, especially if you're attempting to work on or save huge files or projects that rely on powerful plugins. If you plan to work on massive projects, ensure your GPU, RAM, and processor are up to the task.

It is easy to integrate with other Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, and it provides a multitude of tools that are quite useful in creating beautiful graphics and illustrations.

There's not much to dislike, honestly. The price of Adobe creative apps is a little high, but other than that, there is nothing bad to say about Illustrator! Perhaps more tutorials would be great!

The interface is well organized and also user friendly.

Some font sizes come off too small even though it is editable.

Its an easy to use graphic tool and very convenient for content creation so I dont have to worry too much..

Steep learning curve. Need to follow toolkits or courses to understand full suite.

So many years in the market and it continues to be a leader, for a reason it is! Great interface and many solutions

For some entrepreneurs it can be expensive to pay the monthly fee

It lacks a background removal feature where you have to keep going back and forth to Photoshop

I love the fact that it's so convenient and easy to use. There are lots of resources available online that allow one to learn Illustrator. As a self-taught designer, Illustrator is all one needs to match industry standards. Illustrator has remained my go-to for graphic designing ever since I learnt it and will continue to do so.

I'm not a fan of Adobe's subscription model. I do not believe that it's ethical to be charging people on a monthly basis for a product that has remained a one-time buy. This is one of the reasons why despite getting many upgrades, I continue with my Adobe CS tools instead of CC.

Illustrator allows one to create vector graphics that are scalable, are pixel perfect, and pretty to look at. Illustrator has remained an industry standard because it helps drive the graphic design industry with its quality set of tools. It's efficient and allows you full control over your design.

Its one of the best app I have used before for creating logs and design an web page and mobile screen.. it was very helpful since it had endless file exporting options...

This app consumes alot of space consumption. In order to work with Adobe Illustrator one ahve to be well trained in software designing. This will be challenging for beginners...

It better than Adobe Photoshop shop especially on logo designing and detailings... It provides scalable vector graphics.. user can create small file size... The pen tool which is use offen and it's very much helpful....

I would say the whole structure of the app. The interface is intimidating but when you learn how to use it, everything should be just fine. Vectorizing is the best one.

The Interface, It looks intimidating for first timers and would really back out when they see the interface.

Vectors and logo, it makes our lives easier when making a logo or a vector.

Great tools for creating hi-resolution artwork, images, and layouts. It is my go-to program when I need to create SVGs and other images for the web. It is also a useful layout tool.

The only downside is that it takes up a lot of your PC resources.

We generate a ton of design work and this is our main program.

Illustrator is the application that I use for just about everything I do. It has the most features and seamlessly transfers from desktop to tablet to mobile.

The only aspect I struggle with in Illustrator is transferring between photoshop and illustrator. At times they do not always work together well, but it is not always an issue.

Web page Layout, vector design, 3d design, logo design, custom graphics, infographics, charts, reports, presentations. Anything I need to do throughout the day can be done in Illustrator. It makes my job easier!

Illustrator has great integration with other adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop); it is intuitive and quick to learn; widespread knowledge in the architecture industry allows for easy collaboration; a well-designed user interface is a joy to use; and it allows you to import a variety of file types.

The only issues I have with Illustrator comes from large file sizes and/or effects slowing down the speed. When applying lots of effects to layers (for example drop shadows to add a shadow to a tree), it can make the file very slow because it has to process adding the shadow to every instance of a tree along with the opacity setting for that shadow. This is to be expected with any program, however, and is easily worked around by tuning off the effect until you are ready to export a view.

Problems I solve include: needing a way to make quick diagrams to explain ideas; the need to create a diagram where you can enlarge a part of it significantly without loss in resolution.

It can successfully convert my drawings into vector files that I then use to be made into prints for my clothing brand. It helps reduce costs of employing a graphic artists to complete my vector files for me.

I dislike how hard it is initially to learn how to use the program, it is not very user friendly int begining but you progress. It definitely needs more tutorials that are a bit clearer
